I love the place, everyone is super friendly. It's the only place I can find my Milka chocolate. Some of the European chocolate look old or was melted. I have bought cake mix that looked old but wasn't. I don't know why it's not good. Maybe because it came all the way from Germany.
Always clean and there's a good selection on most items in main store. Operators of other businesses are always friendly and don't try to bother you like in a regular mall. Food court is always clean, there's a lot of seating, and most restaurant lines move pretty fast.
Love their kid's clothes
The new exchange building is FANTASTIC!!! This was my first visit and let me tell you, it's so nice to have EVERYTHING UNDER ONE ROOF!!! IT'S TRULY WONDERFUL. Aisles were spacious and clean. Items organized neatly. I found what I wanted without asking for help! I needed directions and someone was right there to assist me - great!!! I will return more often now that I can shop without interruption. Usually I'd have to get in my car and drive to the other building to finish shopping. I was greeted by a sweet woman who worked there. So good to meet nice customer service reps. 🥰 ❣I appreciate that❣ ❤ GOD BLESS FORT SAM HOUSTON EXCHANGE!!! ❤
Living some old memories and enjoying the nostalgia of being back here decades after first training here.
I'm a vet so I love going to base. Plus every employee I encounter is great to me. Especially ( I'm sorry I forgot his name) short blondish gentleman at the electronics department. Great great guy. Very helpful and Knowledgeable.
It has been updated recently. Has a little of everything you need.
This place is a heck of a lot better than the old one! Not only that, but it's better than the Exchange at Lackland! More stores and more food options with more being added. The main bx is a massive store that reminds me of a Walmart and has lots to look at.
The old one was much better with a larger electronics department. Now have to travel to RAFB for a better selection. This was more of a downsize thing and they have more places to eat at however my personal feeling is you short changed the mall for more space for takeout.
