Go to EZ Kayaking Tours and ask for David. He was amazing! He went over the rules and told us a lot of the history of the area while on the trip. He showed us the site that was supposed to be Hoover Dam, but they abandoned it. We saw the walk ways and cables that they used and even visited a lookout where a house used to stand. It was beautiful. We saw Emerald Cave amd Echo Cove, which were great! The winds were picking up amd I list my hat, which David went a.d got for me. I cannot say enough about what a great tour guide he was.
We had such an amazing time with EZ Kayak tours. We had to move our launch time due to weather and the communication from Gio before hand was top notch. They provided snacks, water and even a sun hat for the tour. David was our guide and he knew so much about the geology, history and animals of the area. He's also an excellent photographer - make sure to go in the afternoon if you want the best lighting. We had some headwinds on the way back but he was so encouraging and made sure we were all safe. Would definitely book with them again!
We had a great experience. They were flexible and communicative regarding our scheduled rentals. Equipment was in great shape, everyone was friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond in providing snacks and waters for our outing. Highly recommended.
As a first time "kayaker ", this tour was a really great experience for me... David was a great guide, and very informative about the geography and history of the region. I do definitely plan on booking future tours with this agency.
First time I ever went kayaking. So much fun !! Willow beach is beautiful. Went with a group of 6. some co workers and my son. Dave our tour guide was fantastic he had the patience of a saint and the knowledge of an encyclopedia I learned a lot from him and had a great time . thanks Dave! Gio was amazing! Our teenage and adult kids wouldn’t stop thanking us for a great adventure and memorable family trip. As a mom, having a knowledgeable and prepared guide allowed me to not have to worry about everyone else and just enjoy the experience. Thank you Gio!!
Absolutely loved everything about this excursion. If you kayak go on your own, but if you have never kayaked before get the tour. We went on our own and had so much fun! David was absolutely wonderful to our group and took very good care of us. He even came out to check on us, he was so personable and adorable! Gio was just as wonderful, his communication was beyond exceptional and even told us some fun places outside of Vegas Strip to visit! The customer service was top notch! We will be back and do this tour again! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I highly recommend EZ KAYAK, from the moment we booked Gio was extremely helpful, even with helping us complete the waiver forms. Once we arrived they gave the first timers a quick 5-10 minute class on how to kayak, recommended places to stop including Emerald Cave. They provided each kayak clean sun hats, sunscreen, a snack bag and frozen waters. I plan on going back to kayak and will be booking with Gio and Dave. Thank you again!
We had a wonderful holiday weekend kayaking trip with EZ Kayak Tours and David, our guide. Gio reached out a few days in advance to answer questions and sent an informative document. Note: It mentions the park service a few times in the reminders but doesn’t specifically mention a park entrance fee in order to reach the meeting spot. (No idea how much it was because we had a national park pass purchased for another day). Looking back, it mentions the park entrance fee on the booking page but I’d forgotten as that was a couple of months ago. Our group was fairly small—2 of us plus 6 others and David, our outstanding guide. They had sun hats, dry bags, cell phone pouches, ice cold water and snacks galore available and included with the tour. David got us launched and told us all about the local flora and fauna as well as the history of the area of Lake Mead and Emerald Cave as a possible site for the Hoover Dam. We waited a bit to enter the cave (maybe 20-25 min) but David got some sweet photos and texted them to us a couple hours later. The water was chilly but it was a nice contrast to the scorching sun. After a swim, we took a short hike with an amazing vantage point and got more photos. Wonderful company, well-organized, followed safety guidelines to a T, very welcoming and David gave us the exact experience we were looking for. They even read the comment section where we mentioned we were celebrating my daughter’s birthday and made her feel extra special. Highly recommend!
My husband and I usually love to hike during our travels but wanted to try something different on our trip out to Vegas, and I’m so glad we did. EZ kayaks tour down the Colorado river was amazing. I would *strongly, strongly* recommend this company. David, our guide, was not only super friendly, but was also very knowledgeable of the landscape, river, wildlife, etc. He also paid attention to our level of experience with paddling and catered to what we could do. It was a 10/10 experience for sure and we couldn’t have asked for a better day.
