We really enjoyed the Pizza and Gelato in an old theater that combines some old atmosphere with new. Also the staff were very nice!
This is a beautiful place to eat. The atmosphere was very good the wait time was good and the food was amazing.
The pizza here is insanely good!!! Came here with my family. There's a counter at the entrance for self service and then a back bar area for full service. We sat at a hightop, in the bar, to see the game on the TVs. We started with cocktails and the ricotta trio with the gluten free option. As a gluten eater I'm highly critical of gluten free products and the gluten free substitution toasts were excellent! We ordered the Mighty Quinn and the Detroit Bomber which were power packed with flavor and perfect cheesy crispness to the Detroit style crust. The gluten free option was loved by our gluten free companion but I admit I was too invested in my own to try hers. Absolutely loved our time and cant wait to go back!
Absolutely the best pizza I have had since Chicago. Even better. The crust was off the chain!! Highly recommend. I had the some like it hot and the classic caprese.
The Mighty Quinn pizza is delicious!! My mushroom-hating kid said “This is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever tasted in my life.” She's not wrong.
The first I ordered online the pizza was good until I found a piece of hair on it. I wanted to try it again since the taste was good but I walked in and the four employees behind the counter looked at me and continued talking among themselves and didn’t even acknowledge me and say they’d be with me shortly. I’d expect more from a place charging nearly $20 a pizza
A delightful evening at an old cinema turned pizzeria. With silent films projected against the wall, electric dough offers a nostalgic yet modern pizza experience. The pizza squares can be ordered in one of three sizes, we ordered two of the pizzas off the menu, each with six slices and something off the kids menu for the little one. The pizzas had a nice fluffy dough with the right crisp in the crust. The pizza paired nicely with a beer, but they also offer a large variety of craft sodas and juices on self serve. To top the evening off we had the gelato paired with espresso. Overall it was a nice evening in San Marco, and being nestled right on the strip it makes it easy to have a nice evening walk after dinner and enjoy the lion fountain.
Great place to go to if you'd like to enjoy pizza along with some great vibes. Went here with some friends to catch up and we enjoyed our night here. A great choice when in the San Marco area and looking for a place to eat with some night life vibes. PS some nights they do trivia so always a plus if you are into those.
I was visiting some friends in Jacksonville and made a special plan to try out this Detroit pizza place. Arrived at 7:45 p.m. on a Friday night and was told they were in a 30-minute freeze not taking any service or orders. While we could have come back and picked up takeout we just had to go somewhere else instead. I've run a restaurant for 22 years so I understand how the kitchen can get overwhelmed but turning customers away at the door on a Friday night is a clear indication of how this place is run. I asked if I could put in a takeout order and pick it up in an hour or two and was told no more orders. I obviously cannot recommend and will not be going back.
