What a shop! These guys are more than capable. Their work is clean, they love what they do and it shows. I dropped my car off for a new clutch and flywheel. Knowing the transmission was coming out, they went ahead and replaced the trans mount for me as well. Dylan tracked down the correct oem+ mount I was looking for to help stiffen up the drivetrain. While he was at it, he recommended the cross member bushings as well as the shifter bushings to really bring the feel back to my 2018 Sti. I'm usually one to do my own work, and had Dylan recommended to me by a friend. I would absolutely take my car back to them for anything I need. They've earned my trust when it comes to taking care of my car like it was their own. Can't praise them enough for the excellent service that was provide at a competitive cost. Everything was in stock and I picked it up same day. Thanks again!!!

I recently brought my car into DC AutoFirm for a walnut blast cleaning, and the results were impressive. My vehicle (a direct-injection engine) had been suffering from rough idling, hesitation under acceleration, and noticeable loss in power. I’d read that carbon buildup could be the culprit, and sure enough — that was the case. Dylan at DC AutoFirm was knowledgeable and professional throughout the process. He walked me through what the walnut blasting service involved, explained the benefits, and even showed me before-and-after photos of my valves. The level of detail and transparency was refreshing. After the cleaning, the difference was immediately noticeable: smoother idle, better throttle response, and improved fuel economy. It honestly feels like a new engine. If your DI engine has 60K+ miles and hasn’t had this done, I highly recommend this service — and especially from a place like DC AutoFirm, where they clearly take pride in doing the job right.

Dylan was able to get and install exactly the starter I requested and stayed very communicative throughout the whole process. Once the part came in, he was able to fit me in and install with a fantastic turnaround. Extremely reasonably priced and stuck with his quote. Highly recommend.
