I would rate zero stars if I could, absolute worst customer experience! I am the Freight & Logistics Manager for Empire CAT. We had a shipment that originated with Central Transport, who handed off our freight to CCFS. Central Transport's tracking website showed the shipment was delivered to our Globe, AZ facility yesterday morning. Upon further digging, it was discovered shipment was handed off to CCFS. We called the only 1-800 number available to obtain delivery status. Was put on hold for 45 minutes with no one answering. We sent an email to the customer service address. Was advised that Globe was a remote location & thus shipment would not be delivered until next Tues. We advised we needed to get the freight ASAP & our client couldn't wait another 5 days. Finally, late last night we received an email response that truck would be unloaded in am. We requested to intercept freight and the Operations Supervisor agreed. We sent a truck in to pick up the freight from the Phoenix, AZ terminal first thing this morning. Our driver was told that CCFS already loaded the freight on to one of their trucks. When we inquired via email, the supervisor's response: "I apologize as we are very busy. The driver saw that it went to Globe and he loaded." We attempted to call the supervisor, no one answered, getting a Verizon automated message stating our call could not be completed at this time. Sent an urgent email request, no response back as of yet.
Our delivery experience with CCFS, and especially Lorenzo, was very easy. Lorenzo was pleasant, helpful, and thorough.
Lorenzo is always here when we need it and always in a good mood which just makes for a great experience. We look forward to continuing to work with y’all
