I love this place! I was in town for a customer meeting and had to host another major call. I was able to rent a quiet space where I hosted the call very successfully. There was great wi-fi and my host made sure I had everything I needed to be comfortable. I felt like a regular patron!! Highly highly recommend this space for your business needs!!
Very awesome hosts. They offer some great tech events for citizens of the area to attend. Very good place for meeting people and hooking up for jobs. I loved my visits. Would highly recommend for people moving into the area to get to know their tech communities.
I've been working out of CO+HOOTS for a few months now and I have no complaints. In fact, it's one of the better decisions I've ever made! And the addition of Greater Than Coffee makes for a wonderful working environment. Come down, make friends.
Boy ... this place is pretty amazing. Very diverse, friendly, down-to-earth environment. One of the owners, Odeen; is willing to do anything to accommodate you ... I just overheard him suggest moving a wall for a fellow COHOOTIAN?! Seriously though ... too many great things to list, but one of those is Beer:30, with a couple stellar offerings from a great local brewery (Wren House) ... free beer on Friday afternoon for members. If you're thinking of coming in - definitely give it a shot. You can try a day for free ... and if that day is Friday, well, then you also get free beer (I think - don't quote me ... I'll delete this post ...)
Impressive space with better amenities than my normal office! In town from Louisiana and needed a place to get connected! Impressed by the layout, ample sized work stations, standing desks, stocked kitchen and even a kegerator! Great space for long term or even a quick pop in!
An energetic and progressive co-working space. I’ve been here for meetings and on a day pass and I’m always productive at CO HOOTS. The owners are very kind and work hard to make sure it’s a space where everyone feels welcome. A great place to find community as a solo-entrepreneur!
Not enough stars to give to CO+HOOTS. I was getting stir-crazy freelancing from home and their 3mo Black Friday deal lined up perfectly with the last trimester of my pregnancy. CO+HOOTS provided me with a safe and inspiring space to finish up all the work I needed to do before my daughter arrived. Odeen and Jenny's space is truly welcoming of all people. There's a productive, happy, respectful atmosphere throughout. It's collaborative too-- met a few potential clients through CO+HOOTS. Take a look at the shop stand if you're doing a fly-by. It features local artists. I purchased a beautiful little abstract piece by Jenny's mom. <3 CO+HOOTS!
Best coworking space in the world. The founders are amazing people that care deeply about the community and creating an amazing space for entrepreneurs and professionals. They have tons of great events, and the monthly happy hours are the greatest of times. Stop looking at other coworking spaces and just pick cohoots already. Unless you like drab, boring, and dull, then you should defiantly pick another space.
I own a local chain of men's hair shops, but surprise! I don't actually know how to cut hair. I spend my time working on the business as oppose to in the business, which means I need a place to get work done away from the staff. I joined CO+HOOTS as both a workspace, as well as a place to meet others who I can share ideas with and gain energy from. Since joining my productivity has greatly increased. Having a place where I can go outside of my home and hair shops keeps me focused and on task. For example, when I am at CO+HOOTS there is much less temptation to take a "Game of Thrones" break (or marathon) in the middle of my work day. Its been more than just a workspace though. For example, I have attended several free events they set up for members to share their talents with other members. The last couple weeks I attended two sessions on improving your social marketing that have really helped me. Lastly, but not leastly, it's a wonderful community of people. I have met many other professionals who are in a similar start up or small business sphere that I am. Being able to share ideas has been both energizing for me and helpful to both myself and others I collaborated with.
Well aren't I embarrassed for finally taking the time to do this having been a founding member. I met Jenny in 2009 and she pitched me this idea of "coworking." I loved the idea and after conferring with my husband we decided to launch my company out of Co+Hoots. Since then we have outgrown our space and moved to another location but our hearts will always be a part of Co+. Jenny has been instrumental in playing her part in the economic revitalization of downtown and being and advocate and a resource for startups and the entrepreneur community. If you want to feel like you are in the "thick of it" surrounded by smart, caring people - I'd say you'd found the right place. The Co in Co+Hoots for me, will always stand for Community.
