Absolutely the best dirty chai latte I've had. Wonderful atmosphere and service! Will make a point to visit every time I come to Portland. :D
Up until today, I would grab a coffee or a breakfast burrito at Floyd's once every two weeks or so. They're always busy around 9:00 a.m. when I am there. Invariably, there are one or two patrons who grab the wrong drink when it is placed on the counter and there isn't a process in place to prevent this from happening. While the responsibility for paying attention and grabbing your own drink is mostly the responsibility of the patron, the baristas don't seem to care one way or the other. Today, I ordered a breakfast burrito and waited for about 20 minutes. I watched every patron who ordered before me, and some after, get their orders or someone else's, before inquiring about my order. I had been standing in view near the counter while waiting. When I asked, the response I received was unpleasant. I must have put the person out. They grabbed another burrito from the fridge, tossed it in the microwave, and went back to what they were doing without a glance, an apology, or a smile. When it was cooked, I took my burrito and left. I won't go back.
The side alley patio of this coffee shop is the perfect way to start your day. Great spot near the saturday market too to stop and sit to get out of the sun and the crowd for a minute.
Got a lil Vanilla Latte here and it was great :). Nice lil place with friendly folks inside. Great stop for walking around the waterfront too🍂🌊
Another great coffee shop! This place is my second favorite in the portland area. Great coffee, cool vibe inside with nice seating and art, the patio is a closed off area in an alley with a beautiful little water feature.
Great food, wife and I loved the Better breakfast sandwich, cappuccino and Chai were good. If you are staying near old Town, I would suggest this place. Also the Stag is not far from and can be seen overhead.
Got some yummy lavender 🍋 lemonade. Fresh squeezed, best customer service and kind people! Definitely will check out live music here when I get a chance.
The drinks were fine the staff was the issue… I ordered a drink and asked for sugar free vanilla in it and the barista taking my order goes “sorry we’re out” and before I could respond another barista goes “yes we do! I just got some the other day! :)”. The barista taking my order proceeds to say INFRONT of me “I know but I don’t like to open the sugar free syrups because they go bad alot faster and it would only be for one drink…” NEVER have I ever been so confused and so uncomfortable! I couldn’t do anything but laugh and proceed to order my drink with regular vanilla 🤣 Don’t you buy items and restock things so your customers can purchase them for their drinks? Needless to say, don’t come here if you only order drinks with sugar free syrups 😂
Amazing breakfast experience! We had a great time chatting with the owner and checking out the art. The house roasted coffee (drip coffee and decaf americano) and breakfast burrito were so good.
Two things. Went in for one of their proudly advertised sandwiches to be greeted with a mutter of swears from the server as he walked away. There are points when lines get busy - never should it entail swearing because of a customer's order that may take longer than others. Don't put it on the menu if you don't want to serve it. Lost a repeating customer. I would've given it two stars because of that incident but subtracted another for how they serve their beer. In order to fill two beers - they took four half filled glasses filled with foam and scooped the foam out with a spoon. Then they combined them to give to their customer(s). It is great they offer a variety of foods/drink but should focus on doing something correctly instead of trying to do everything.
