I'm glad I found this place! I'm a night owl, so it's great to find a place that stays open late. Upon walking in you are immediately greeted by a great atmosphere. The employees/owners are friendly and welcoming. There's plenty of seating in a wide open space. They have live music and comedy at scheduled times and the background music matches the great atmosphere. Their drinks are top notch. There is outside seating as well. I think I will become a regular customer.

My go-to downtown coffee shop! Great location close to the river and weekend market. The vibe is so lovely, coffee is delicious, and the owners are the friendliest. They host lots of events and do a great job supporting local artists. Definitely pay them a visit!

Best dirty chai I've had in a while! Awesome tea and coffee selection. Excited to try the pastries and breakfast sandwiches. Strong Wi-Fi for work/zoom meetings. Umbrella covered outdoor space with seating is great too. Clean bathrooms!
I used to go to this place when it was Floyd's, and loved the atmosphere then. When I walked into Cafe United for the first time, I could tell something had changed. The place seems smaller... Then, one of the shop owners pushes open a bookcase-door and reveals a secret room! Lol! I had a meeting in the "speak easy" room. It was great! Private and cozy - much better than it was when it was Floyd's. The new owners have made a wonderful contribution to Keep Portland Weird. I hope they join Weird Portland United! Great work! The coffee is an excellent medium to dark roast, none of that green fruity flavor that so many shops are providing these days! Cafe United is a great coffee shop!
Lets just say this has been one of the best Saturdays Ive had downtown in a LONG while. The CBD add-on option is a must! I recommend 10mg for rec users, as it was an extremely meditative, full body experience. The caffeine & CBDs work in a weird synergy that is calming and stimulating at the same time. I will be making this a weekend treat from now on!
