I went to C. Fredrick's Automotive Interiors to check on getting a car seat sown. Mr. Floyd stopped what he was working on, and came out to look at the seat. He explained the hazard of doing so as the airbag would be compromised. He then went in and called two places to see what he could offer as a compromise. I was appreciative of the time he spent trying to get me options. The cost of the option is high and I am contemplating what to do. But what impressed me most was Mr. Floyd's time, patience and honesty in helping me understand the situation and my options. I may not take him up on this option because it is not in my budget right now, but if you are looking for honest, high quality customer service as it relates to Convertible Repair, Auto Upholstery, Auto Seat Repairs, Seat Restoration, Leather Interior, Cloth Interior and more, consider these guys. I brought in a bench seat and door panels for my 1969 C10, they wrapped it in black leather with grey stitching around the seam and diamond pattern on the seat and back rest. I am very pleased with the outcome, it is exactly what it envisioned it to look like and can't wait to get in installed in my truck. These guys are very good and their attention to detail is spot on

I worked with Fred to repair a center console. I had to wait a couple of weeks to get on the schedule but he was courteous, did great work, and finished the job when it was promised. I thought the price was fair and I'd definitely do business here again.
I just spoke with Fred regarding replacing a convertible top after being highly recommended from a competitor who is now retired. He was very helpful and told me how to get the process going. Here is the reason I am posting this. After the strong endorsement of someone I highly respect, I wondered why he did not get 5 stars instead of a still very good 4.5 stars. I read all the reviews which were excellent except for 3 which were low. After reviewing those, I think the low scores are without merit with two being an absolute mystery --blank and appear to be some sort of sabotage. I gather this is not a low priced craftsmen but I doubt I will find any of higher quality given my refer outlining how complex my replacement will be. Just sayin.
I had the convertible top on my Mustang repaired at C Fredericks. I had a hydraulic problem. Fred did a great job for a lot less than the dealer. What really impressed me though was his honesty. While storing my car for the night an employee bumped into another car. The place where it was hit was on the rubber bumper in the back. When I picked up my car he tried to show me and I coundn't see it, he had me move around to where I could see what had happened. I woiuld never have noticed it if he hadn't pointed it out. I looked at it and it was barley a scratch. I said well, just let it go, i would buff it out later. He said I should fix it and he would pay for it. He said because its on the rubber bumper that in time the paint would crack. So i should get it fixed and he deducted the cost from my bill for fixing the top. So he has my business forever.
