September 2024 Review of Brener Construction: midtown studio renovation After having asked for estimated costing from other companies, I was pleasantly surprised to have Amos from Brener Construction listen attentively to my queries, make practical suggestions on possible solutions, and provide clear timelines and costs for the work to be undertaken. i basically needed to renovate the kitchen and bathroom, plus repaint and make improvements to the rest of the studio. I am so glad that I decided to then hire Brener Construction for the renovation of a Midtown studio. During the entire undertaking, Amos and his colleagues kept me fully informed of the progress made (video/calls), the complications which arose and ways to resolve them, always letting me know costs of options. I was fully satisfied with the results; my studio has been given a new life. Amos is a very friendly person who truly listens to your needs and finds the best way forward. Amos, Gal, and their team were really wonderful to work with. They did a full gut renovation of our kitchen, and were communicative, thorough, and friendly throughout the entire process. We've heard many horror stories about projects-gone-wrong, so we were nervous as this was our first home renovation, but we ended up having nothing to worry about. Working with Brener means working with a group of people who care, and who'll see your project through until they're certain you're happy. I hired Brener Construction to do a complete renovation of my apartment (bathrooms, closets, bedrooms, paint, electric rewiring, etc...). Amos and Gal took extremely good care of me and my project. They were always available, responsive, and their work was top notch. The level of work and service I received from them was great. In addition to being available and responsive, they were also honest in what could and what could not be done, and their pricing was absolutely fair. I will definitely hire them again if I ever have to renovate another place again, and I highly recommend them.

I highly recommend Brener Construction. Hiring Amos and his team was a fantastic decision when remodeling my apartment after it got flooded and would not hesitate to hire them again. First, Amos responded very quickly and came to the apartment the same day I called him. He sent me a very reasonable project proposal a few days later and he was open to discussing it and adjusting it based on my needs. As my first time remodeling and apartment, Amos was good at explaining everything related to my concerns and happy and flexible to come up with solutions that would fit what I was looking for. Second, when the work finally started at the apartment, Amos maintained excellent communication with me. Since I don’t live in NY this was crucial for me. He called and sent me pictures and videos every day and consulted every major decision with me before doing anything to make sure I agreed. At the same time, he was good at recommending solutions when I needed his advice. Since I didn’t have any remodeling experience before this project but definitely wanted to stay involved along the process, I didn’t always know what was best and Amos was great at helping me decide. Third, the quality of the work was amazing. I was very surprised at how fast they finished the work and extremely happy with the quality of the results. My apartment looks stunning, even better than before the flood, and it’s thanks to Amos and his team from Brener Construction. Finally, after the remodeling was done, I noticed a few little details that I wanted to change or fix, and Amos immediately agreed to fix them so that I would be 100% satisfied with the results. Working with Amos was the best decision! It made a project that could have been very stressful a pleasant and even fun experience and I love the way my apartment looks! If I needed to remodel my apartment again, I wouldn’t call anyone else.

Brener Construction worked with us to make modifications to a new build, luxury unit in the West Village. They were superb. Great design aesthetic. Super high-quality finished product. Completely dustless construction. Great can-do attitude. Nothing was too complicated for them. We will use them again and recommend them 100% of the time. We could not ask for a more qualified skilled crew or more responsive, cooperative senior leadership.

Brener and Amos were a treat to work with. Extremely professional, thorough and helpful, Amos' team guided us through a stressful first-time renovation project. Amos in particular was phenomenal - brimming with good ideas and master executor - he kept us on our toes and was instrumental in driving our project forward so that we completed our renovation bang on schedule. I've done three projects with Brener. They have always been great at communication and coordination about the projects, their workmanship is excellent, and they are so clean and organized on site. It has been a pleasure working with them and I look forward to our next project together.

We have an 865 sq ft.1 BR condo on the upper west side of Manhattan. No significant improvements had been made since its construction, and it needed complete kitchen and bathroom renovations. I interviewed 3 in-person contractors to go over the project, discuss ideas, cost and time to completion. I settled on Brener Construction, and it was the right choice. Amos Guetta, the owner, was quick to respond through his office manager Lois, and I only had to wait a few days for us to meet. He was on time, professional, courteous and pleasant. He listened to my ideas, offered some suggestions of his own and was willing to consider changes that would pose challenges. In a few days I received the proposal by email; the project was broken up into phases with inclusions and exclusions clearly stated. As often happens with any renovation project, it grew. In addition to a totally new kitchen and bathroom, new closets were built, crown molding and recessed lighting were placed throughout the condo, additional wall sockets were wired, ceiling fans and a split A/C system were installed, and floors were sanded. Some partition walls and a drop ceiling were removed, opening the rooms and allowing them to breath. Amos started the project and demolition on time and would send daily photos through a group WhatsApp account created along with his office manager, Lois. It gave me the ability to follow progress and communicate back and forth. It was also easy to speak with Amos and Lois over the phone when necessary. Having Lois on the thread was an advantage since she could follow up on orders, delivery dates and troubleshoot any problems along the way. She provided the back-office support essential to any business. Living in Philadelphia and at times being out of the country, posed no problems with our communication. I made it a priority to always try to answer immediately whenever Amos or Lois would send a message or had a question. I figured a delay on my part could result in double delay on their part if they had to wait for me to respond. I had a chance to meet the electrician Orlando, and many of his workers; all professional who shared Amos' desire for attention to detail and clearly took pride in their work. Many of his workers have been with Brener for years which bodes well for the company. Amos followed all electrical and plumbing city codes, offered reasonable troubleshoot suggestions whenever problems or surprises arose (sure to happen) and always in a calm and pleasant manner. He abided by all condo rules and regulations and there was never any friction between him and management. After weeks of working closely with Amos, I consider him a friend and would have no reservations in recommending Brener Construction for any small or large project. In short, if you are looking for a contractor, look no further and have the confidence that choosing Brener Construction and Amos Guetta is the right choice. He may not be the cheapest, but the work will be done right and done right the first time. In Spanish there is a saying, “lo barato sale caro” - that which is cheap, will turn out to be expensive!
