My wife got me my favorite shirt here. She found it towards the end of the store. We loved the altar they had for Día de los Muertos.
Out with the family and the owner I’m assuming accused of stealing. Extremely rude. We were waiting for other family members to complete a purchase and she came up to us asking if we stole something and we responded asking in disbelief and turned around and walked away.

Weird I made some purchases there the other day. My receipt said $41.12 and there is a pending transaction for $42.76 I know it's not much but it kinda makes you wonder how many others they did that to throughout the day making the total much more? I will wait for the final transaction to see what it is.
My wife and our book buddy who's a Frida junkie had a lot of fun looking at and purchasing a plethora of Frida inspired stuff. I thought our buddy already had several copies of every Frida t shirt....black background only, I was way wrong. They even had some Selena stuff.
Extremely over priced. Customer service the worst I’ve experienced downtown. The lady making drinks at the door wouldnt bother to greet us and kept pointing at us to move instead of telling us to move to another place. We kept asking her what she meant, and she refused to speak to us. Of course, she didnt have a problem communicating with white males. She made it Very obvious that she wanted to show a contrast in her treatment. Crazy to me how she’s making a living off of selling hispanic inspired merchandise and drink, but cant bother to treat a hispanic family with decency and respect.
SOoooo Adorable. This is my 3rd purchase from this vendor and each time I have been very pleased with my purchase plus my grandkids love their little elephant. Each one is unique/different, very colorful with the stitched flowers, and very well made. Terrible quality of items and overpriced. You can find the same items down the road for half the price at the Mercado. They charge a 3% up charge even if you pay cash bc my receipt reflected it and I gave her cash. I got scammed and should have checked my receipt before I walked out.
This place has beautiful handcrafted objects from Mexico. The moment I walked in I was in awe with everything I saw inside, there is cultural diversity in all of the different pieces and you can tell there was thought and effort put into each brush stroke of the artifacts. Definitely a place I recommend visiting while at El Mercado. The workers speak both spanish and english which made me feel comfortable to ask them anything about the prices or any questions I had. The owner was very helpful and she personally helped me get any delicate pieces that I wanted to get. Everyone is very helpful and nice.
