Our installer went out of business, and Jay, the service manager at A1A Solar, was able to assist us in migrating our monitoring and warranty service to their company. He was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the process, which was a great relief given the uncertainties surrounding the situation when your installer is no longer available. Thank you Jay and the team at A1A Solar & Air.
A1A Solar has always been great, from installation to service. They even catch when my panels aren’t communicating or functioning. Jerome has been very responsive and helpful. .
The service was very good. And I appreciate that the company will call and notify me when the system is not working. However, it would be helpful when initiating the call to ask if it’s a convenient time to try and troubleshoot and to let the customer know about how much time will be required to do the troubleshooting process. It was not a particularly convenient time for me today and interrupted some meetings I had planned. But again, I certainly appreciate the quality of the service.
Just spoke to Jerome at A1A Solar that installed 18 solar panels on my roof in 2017. I bought a Tesla in 2018, and was finally able to get 2 Tesla Powerwalls installed by A1A in 2019. I qualified for $7500 tax credits all 3 years. Since then, I’ve had very few problems with any of the equipment. I haven’t had an electric bill for years, I charge my car at home, and my electric company sent me a $500 check for my net metering. My next upgrade will be when my insurance company forces me to replace my roof - maybe later this year. Jerome informed me that they are also installing metal roofs. I’ll get one from A1A, which should last the rest of my life. If you can invest in going solar, do it. If the grid goes down, the Powerwalls pick up the slack so your life is not disrupted by an outage. The company also installed a hybrid hot water heater, which is energy efficient.
After my system had been down for some time, I contacted Solar Edge who sent me a new inverter. Since my original installer was no longer in business, my power company concierge suggested some local certified companies to contact to have the new inverter installed. I called A1A Solar and spoke with Kelly who handed me over to Moises. Moises explained the process thoroughly and stayed in touch throughout. Nathanial, showed up right on time and did an excellent job of swapping the old inverter for the new and restarted my system and got my communication with the new inverter back online. I’m very happy with the people at A1A Solar and their expertise. Charles Markland
We've had our A1A solar panels for over 5 years now, and have had no problems at all. A1A continues to monitor the system remotely, and I can also see a summary of system operation using the Tesla application on my cell phone. Jerome has called to check with us several times now when our system has lost connectivity with the internet -- just to make sure things were still working OK. He's been very helpful with troubleshooting ideas and feedback on the system. I will try to strengthen our WIFI signal near the control box to reduce the periodic signal losses, at his suggestion. When our local transformer failed about a month ago, causing 6 houses to lose power (including ours) I was so thankful that we had solar panels and Tesla batteries to keep our refrigerators running until power could be restored. I would highly recommend A1A for solar and whole house battery installation and maintenance.
We have had our solar panels for eight years and I am still impressed with A1A Solar for constantly monitoring the production. Twice they have let me know when the panels are not producing, typically due to resetting the breaker. I am grateful for Moises and the team for their commitment to customer service. Thank you A1A!
Jay was very responsive when I contacted him, even though they were not the original company I purchased my Solar Panels, proved recommendations to get my system up running correctly. We updated my system and gave acces to A1 Solar to future assistance/monitoring. The installation team of Tyler and crew were very professional and polite, they took pride in their work and much appreciated.
I had a great experience with A1A Solar for a removal and reinstall of 12 solar panels. I had two other quotes from other companies and A1A Solar was the most affordable, and with recommendation from a roofing company. Jay Indino helped me through the whole process from providing a quote to scheduling the day for the removal. I highly recommend anyone looking for anything solar panel related to give A1A Solar a call.
I believe his name was Albert. He was great, very calm, relaxed, very well informed. Obviously he knew what he was doing. And we were able to get through the situation which was to reset the internet because it was not communicating. And he helped me out through it. It was really good. I'm so glad this company has been great for me. And I appreciate their help.
