I took the Mindful Family Caregivers online course. I had been care taking my mom at the time, for the last several years. She was dying of cancer. This class gave me so much. For the first time I was in a "virtual" room, with 25 people who all knew deeply what I was dealing with and going through, at some level. Regardless of the great content of the course, the fact I was with these people for a few hours a week, was deeply helpful. The content gave us opportunities to be witnessed in our process, share in partner work, and meditate together. The exercises also gave me some new perspective or new way to think about life. It was all really supportive at the time. My mom died shortly after the class ended. Now I need a different kind of course. It's hard to believe this is part of life.

I am grateful to have attended The Mindful Caregiver Education Course; it was a deeply potent experience offering practical skills and profound inspiration in support of implementing and sustaining a mindfulness practice in all facets of Caregiving. Invaluable for teachers, parents, and care-providers of anyone at any stage of life. Highly recommend.

This workshop was deeply moving for me, though I have been at a loss for words to explain why. The calmness and thoughtfulness that developed in the whole group from the beginning on Saturday morning to the end on Sunday was palpable. The facilitators guided us through exercises to understand and build compassion, uncover the layers of loss, and understand the meaning and feelings of loss for each of us. I appreciate the careful structure, which combined individual work, group work and work with a partner (we separated into duos, changing partners with each exercise, with each person having 5 minutes to talk; so everyone was "heard".) The exercises were sometimes profoundly emotional and other times more pragmatic. The two days of work took us all to a profound place in our hearts.

I took the Foundations of Mindful Caregiving course in March 2019. As a healthcare provider, I found the course very practical in enhancing my communication and self-care skills. It also helped me learn about the perspectives of family caregivers. Our teachers created a very safe. nurturing environment for us all to learn and connect. I am looking forward to taking more courses with ZCP in the future.

I attended a Grief and the Holidays workshop in November of 2019 that was extremely beneficial in helping me process and make space for my grief before the fall and winter holidays. The facilitation, written and verbal exercises, and meditations during this day long workshop were top notch, I definitely would attend future workshops and trainings at the Zen Caregiving Project.

I can’t express how valuable the 4 week Family Caregiving Course was; the insights and content, the staff, the resources, the small groups via technology, the connecting with others who “get it” and more - all was excellent. I will be forever grateful!

These people are SO benighted about the value of people and things that I DEFINITELY would NOT want to live or die there! Geesh! I won't take up my time or expend my energies to say anything more than this about these buffoons except that that's what I've had to say in most of the reviews I've given on Google business although I've been able to give a couple of really superlative reviews here, as well! Geesh and geesh again!
