Velo is a great company unless you need them to physically come to your office to fix a long standing and recurring IT issue. Often times they will attempt to fix issues over the the phone or with consent to control on your computer (which is great) but when those fixes don't work and an in person onsite visit is warranted they often refuse to come. Very strange. Very hard to keep your company working and productive without in person support when it is warranted.

Came in as a new client referral from a business partner, and the onboarding fee was clearly explained upfront—no surprises like you sometimes get with MSPs. The help desk team uses a ticket system that actually works; Joseph from support had my Outlook issue fixed within an hour . Only real frustration is getting onsite visits when remote fixes don't cut it—seems like they push hard to avoid rolling a truck . The fixed monthly rate at around $175-300 per user feels fair for what's covered . Parking at the St. Paul building is valet-only during weekdays, so factor that in.

Harris Packaging Corporation has been a proud client of Velo IT Group for 8+ years, and the transformation they've helped us achieve is nothing short of extraordinary. What was once a simple corrugated sheet plant has been revolutionized into a partial-autonomous, industry-standard manufacturing operation — and Velo has been at the center of every major technical milestone. Over the past several years, Velo designed and executed three complete network infrastructure overhauls across our Carson Street manufacturing headquarters, Riverbend distribution facility, and our sister company, American Carton Company, in Mansfield, TX. They deployed enterprise-grade Cisco switching, segmented VLANs, site-to-site VPN tunnels, Cisco Firepower intrusion prevention, Duo MFA, redundant internet failover, a full SIP-based paging system, and extensive CCTV camera cabling — all while keeping our production lines running 24/7. When we transitioned to our current ERP system, Velo provisioned dedicated virtual servers and coordinated directly with the vendor to ensure a seamless rollout. They've maintained our Lenovo server fleet with premier support warranties and recently helped us procure new servers for a new stack refresh. Most recently, Velo helped us transform underutilized warehouse spaces into fully connected wireless environments, enabling 1D and 2D barcode-driven inventory tracking with real-time visibility — a game-changer for our operations and our customers. We now have three new machines on the floor with a fourth slated for August 2026 installation, all supported by the infrastructure Velo built. Through supply chain shortages, network cutovers, hardware failures, and the complexities of modernizing a manufacturing environment — Velo has been responsive, resourceful, and relentless. Their team treats our business like their own. This partnership deserves to be showcased. If you're looking for an MSSP that doesn't just keep the lights on but helps you reimagine what's possible — Velo IT Group is the answer. — David A.
