Amazing experience! I didn’t feel like I was in a resale shop because the store was so well organized, clean, friendly staff and stocked with much better quality items than any resale shops I’ve been in.

I like the store because the people are nice. The workers helped me with all my questions and wasn't rude or disrespectful at all. They have a lot of stuff at good prices.

My experience at Cheapskate was a great one, I always try finding the best things I could there and the workers there are really nice too. I would go there every chance I want, as shown in the picture I found good jeans, jean shorts and a white top. It is a store that are many different clothing items to go through and find. Which the cost of it is affordable in my opinion and I hope to be there again soon.

The owner is very good at taking constructive criticism. Owners actually listen to the customers and corrected two major Issues. The first major issue was that all of the sale items were not separated. It was very hard to distinguish what was on sale vs what was NOT on sale. The owners immediately fixed it. The other issue was the employees BEGAN HOLLERING (approximately 20 minutes till closing) yelling how much time we had left until the store closed and they were doing it every three minutes. I did not experience either of those problems when I visited yesterday on 4/30/26 and I absolutely love this place. Before it was very tense and negative, but now it is a positive experience and very professional. UPDATE: Today is June 3, 2026. Brooklyn was the sweetest young lady and actually engages with the customers. Very pleasant! Nobody was negative, nobody was hollering what time it was lol and I felt very welcomed. I cannot speak for uptown cheapskate; however, I can speak for other businesses in this shopping center and the average rent runs $10,000 to approximately $20,000 per month! Considering their overhead, I believe their offers are extremely fair. Next time you drop off clothing for a cash offer, make sure you take this into account before you expect a resell shop to offer you full market value when their rent is higher than all of your bills combined monthly lol

Brooklyn was such a sweet worker! She saw me carrying my baby and had clothes in my hand too. She offered to hold my clothes and was just very attentive! You don’t find people like Brooklyn anymore. Thank you queen ❤️ I love this place!

We always make a point to stop at Uptown Cheapskate Burleson when we’re in Burleson from Dallas. Clean store, great organization, fair prices, and friendly staff. Always a good experience.

Loved shopping here so much! The store is so organized, it’s very easy to look through and satisfying as all the racks are color organized, everything is also very good for the price, I got an amazing high quality sweater for 5 dollars and I saw many current trending styles and such for cheap prices! Like miss me jeans for 20-40 dollars? Hell yes?

This was only my third time selling here, and while I appreciated that the wait time was about 40 minutes (which felt reasonable), there were a couple of things during my visit that really didn’t sit right with me. The biggest issue was the employees’ behavior. I overheard multiple staff members speaking negatively about customers, which felt very unprofessional and uncomfortable. On top of that, I watched them decide not to go through a customer’s entire bag. It seemed like they only checked part of it and finished in less than five minutes, even though the bag looked full and heavy. That didn’t feel appropriate at all. I’ve worked in retail before, so I understand that the job can be frustrating at times and not every customer interaction is easy. But that doesn’t justify treating people poorly or cutting corners. No matter how you feel, customers deserve basic respect and a fair evaluation especially when they’ve taken the time to bring items in. I genuinely felt bad for the customer whose items weren’t fully reviewed. It made me question the consistency and fairness of the process overall. I just don’t understand how it’s okay to be dismissive toward someone you’ve barely even spoken to.
