I am extremely disappointed with my experience using Tableau. From day one, I realized that I had purchased the subscription by mistake. However, trying to cancel it has been nothing short of a nightmare. The process is incredibly convoluted, and there seems to be no straightforward way to cancel the subscription. I have spent countless hours searching through their website and help forums, only to find no clear instructions or support for canceling my subscription. This is absolutely insane and unacceptable for a company of this size. It feels like they are deliberately making it difficult to cancel in order to keep charging customers.
Their offers on Facebook for a free white paper are a scam. Just tried to get another white paper - The 3rd one I have tried to download from Facebook in over a week. It’s in a link from their paid advertising and they offer a free white paper on subjects I am interested in - so it’s targeted advertising! I give them all my contact info except my Biz email. I use my alternative Biz email - an outlook email so my SMC account doesn’t get clogged up with junk email. I’ve also tried my 2 gmail address, my iCloud email and a yahoo email. I am so angry i could scream. They even got my Biz/cell phone number. Two nights ago I must have tried 5 or 6 times with different emails for over an hour of my time. Don’t waste your time trying to get their articles. Must be a scam!
Horrible interface
I now work with Tableau and Salesforce, and I stopped by their offices to visit. They were very welcoming! Beautiful office 🙌
