One of the better Starbucks in the Portland area. Coffee never tastes super burnt and the drinks are made very well!
I have been very impressed with the level of service at this Glisan location. I have always been met with a smile even in the midst of the 7-8am weekday chaos. The mochas are always hot and taste great. The store is clean, and management seems to run a smooth operation. The staff manage to get drinks out in a timely manner when there is a substantial line and a long list of mobile orders for the hospital workers next door. 5/5 for sure! Also important to note - One day, there were two older individuals at the register ordering. It was very clear that they were new to the Starbucks app, points, and had many questions about the menu. The cashier was absolutely amazing with them! So sweet and so patient with the customers even with a line forming. Another worker noticed a bit of a line forming, and they hopped right onto the next register to assist. Way to be kind!
I've consistently had baristas from here cheat me out of the espresso shots that I've paid extra money for when I order my coffee online. My cup arrives with the correct number of shots written on the side of the cup, but it's blatantly obvious that they did not add them. I guess they think since I'm not there on person to see them pull the extra shots that I won't know the difference. If someone pays $4-5 for extra shots they should receive them. I've called and complained about it in the past but they still do it. Do your job!
Service is excellent, staff is friendly. It might be swarming with children when school gets out. The change of tables and chairs is imprudent. It can seem crowded. Outdoor seating.
Getting a shot of cortisone at Providence, normally I wouldn't choose a Starbucks! It's here. Why not? It was one of the best made coffees I've had in a long time! Friendly staff, excellent flavor and the perfect amount of white chocolate. Don't get sick to visit, come for a coffee. You might be very suprised.
Street-parking only, no drive-through. Street was very busy at 5:30pm. Otherwise the staff were lovely and had the pleasant and classic Starbucks experience. Just be warned that parking is a nightmare.
Poor customer service and horrible attitude. I ordered my coffee and stood there waiting for a long time. The staff were looking at me eye to eye, yet it didn’t cross their minds to notify me that my coffee was ready. No one called my name or told me it was waiting on the other side. When I asked, the response showed a horrible attitude, the lady simply said “ok” with no apology for keeping me waiting. I don’t recommend this branch.
This is definitely one of the better Starbucks. The staff are skilled baristas and know what they are doing. They are also friendly. This is one I make an effort to go to over others with unpredictable coffee and high time over of unskilled staff.
What I've noticed about Starbucks is either they have really good Coffee drinks or really good Service, this place had really good service, so not so much good Coffee drinks.
I frequent this location & the people have always been extremely warm & friendly except for this occasion. The person at the counter (Jennifer) was snarky, extremely rude & “fake nice” at the same time. I always bring my cup back in to refill it to use less waste. She rang it in as 50€ & I was pleasantly surprised so I gave her a tip. . After she handed me my coffee, she proceeds to inform me that it’s not customary to leave the premises & come back & receive that low of a price so I should expect to pay the normal price next time. She acted like I had expected it. I have never seen Jennifer before so I introduced myself. This made her uncomfortable. I told her I want comfortable with our interaction & that I would prefer to pay the normal price. She gladly accepted my money & proceeded to be “fake nice” with me. Maybe she was having a bad day. I just don’t appreciate her bad day affecting other people’s days. I am really not sure if I’ll be back here again.
