This place was fantastic! Chelsea is easily one of the coolest bartenders I have ever met. We had such a fun evening here and the atmosphere made it even better. We did a few whiskey shots and they were absolutely worth it. We tried the coffee rye, pecan rye, bourbon, and habanero flavored whiskey, and every single one was incredibly smooth. Great flavored whiskeys and some friendly people... couldn't ask for more.

We had such an INCREDIBLE experience with our guide, Kat! She was so knowledgeable, hilarious, and personable and was truly a highlight of the evening. The cost for this experience was well worth all the delicious samples and the 3 PHENOMENAL cocktails. Everyone fell in love with the rye and we all left with bottles and merch (I couldn’t leave without the cinnamon and ginger)! I will ABSOLUTELY be coming back and requesting Kat as the guide for my class.

Whiskey Tasting with Kat was amazing! She was so kind, fun, and very knowledgeable. It was the last thing for our trip when visiting Nashville for the first time, and was a blast. The cocktails with her were very fun and interesting since they all contain whiskey! They vary each session, so you will be surprised or can request something specific! Also— be sure to also listen to her band, The Semi-Supervillians!

A time was HAD! A must if you are in Nashville! The cocktail class hosted by Kat was AWESOME! Not only is she super friendly, she educated the class about everything we used and gave us recipes to try at home. Our bartender, I think his name was JB, was also super friendly. Will definitely be back next time I’m in town 😁😁

We did a whiskey tasting and cocktail making class with Kat on our trip to Nashville. This experience was THE highlight of our trip! Kat was fun, informative, and generous! She is the heart and soul of SP whiskey and should be running the place! We left with 2 bottles of SP whiskey, a bar kit, lots of amazing cocktail recipes, a new friend (Kat) and the best memories!

Perfect place for whiskey tasting little off Broadway! The bartender was the best ever and the whiskey was really good!!

We stumbled into Standard Proof by accident and we are SO GLAD we did!!!! Moxi and Tori were SO sweet in explaining their drink options… and the drinks themselves? HOLY SMOKIES!!! Absolutely incredible. My wife had the coffee infused bourbon old fashioned and I had the pineapple bourbon pina colada. Unreal and I’m not even a big bourbon person! DO NOT sleep on this hidden gem if in Nashville. 10/10 stars!

Good music, better drinks. Weston made me a killer old fashioned with the Texas pecan rye whiskey. Game changer. Had to take a bottle home. Will be back!

I highly recommend Westin “aka Phil” for the whiskey class. It was a great group activity.

Wow! Abby made our cocktail class so fun! Our group of six from Texas had a wonderful time. We weren't sure about the infused whiskey concept but WOW! It is delicious and that is from someone that didn't like whiskey before. Highly recommend the whiskey and their cocktail class.
