Setlan Coffee Co.

I love this wee coffee shop! Nestled just inside MOCA, this is a great little spot to stop for a drink and bite to eat before or after an arts class or on the way to the library next door. Their chai latte is my usual (and among the best I've tasted from a cafe), but I tried the seasonal Florida Fall latte this morning and it hit just the right notes of orange, cinnamon and ginger. Not a PSL lover here, so I love that they offer fall flavors in other forms. I've tried several of their pastries, kolaches and quiches and haven't spared a single bite; they're divine. Service is always incredibly welcoming without being creepy-overly-friendly (if you know what I mean). Also, mustaches. Need I say more? You can't go wrong with Setlan Coffee Co.

The space is very nice, and the drinks were amazing. Andrew is very personable, and extremely knowledgeable about coffee. He let me pick his brain, gave me advice about my home setup, and didn't skip a beat while prepping drinks.

Amazing experience every time I come here! Some of the best coffee in Jax, and their kolache sammies are to die for (get the bacon pimento!). Super friendly and fast service too! I always make it a point to drop in whenever I'm downtown, and I highly reccomend coming by!

Each cup is delicately made with passion and love and you can taste it in every single drop. We are beyond blessed to have Setlan and it’s owner’s in our Jacksonville community. Go try it for yourself, you will have zero regrets other than not paying them a visit sooner!

Got the gateway latte. Very good. It’s in a museum downtown in a great location. Beautiful and peaceful. Coffee is a little pricey but I feel like that’s standard.

I came here to find a new coffee place so I could stop going to starbucks and was SO pleasantly surprised. I tried to play it safe and order a shaken espresso but was swayed to try a bramble iced coffee and I am SO glad I did, so delicious, and perfect amount of flavor and sweetness. AND THE BAGEL!? holy moly. By far the best everything bagel I have ever had. It's filled with cream cheese and it's so soft and salty and flavorful UGH I cannot wait to go back. 11/10

Uniquely flavored coffee, great atmosphere, and the peacefully next to an art museum that grants free admission for students, this place is great for quiet book clubs or one on one get togethers… if you can snag one of the four tables! Great place.

Today was my first (of many more to come) visit to Setlan and I absolutely adore it! The white rose latte is heavenly (white chocolate and rose, yuuuum), and the barista/owner was an absolute delight! He was super friendly and such a pleasure to talk to. Definitely recommend this little spot and can’t wait to see how the space they’re in grows!

Absolutely fantastic! It can be hard to find good-quality, traditional espresso drinks, especially with the ever-decreasing standards at the big-name, franchise places. All the more reason to SHOP LOCAL. When the delightful owner of Setlan Coffee Co. confirmed with me that I was okay with a "traditional, 6oz cappuccino" I almost wept for joy...although it's unfortunate that he should even have to ask. In any case, this was one of the best espresso-based drinks I have ever had. The oat milk was steamed to perfection, and as a (very) amateur barista myself I know this is not easy to do! If you appreciate good coffee, do yourself a favor and stop by. I'm trying to get back to Jacksonville again for work, just so I can get another cappuccino here!

Amazing coffee spot in the San Marco area. We try to stop by every time we’re passing through Jacksonville. Very friendly folks and a relaxing atmosphere. I really enjoy the Iced Lattes from their seasonal offerings.
