I worked with the team at Seapoint Solar at the end of 2023 to install my panels and it could not have been more successful. Vince and his team are extremely professional and it has been several months since install and there have been no issues with my solar panels or the installation. Additionally, Seapoint is so on task that they complete all the paperwork for registering the panels before I even can look at my emails. Really great team. highly recommend.

I had settled on my home in late September and immediately set upon finding a reputable company that could commit to installing a rooftop Solar system by year’s end to be able to qualify for the sunsetting federal tax credit. Seapoint Solar was there to listen to my challenge and to cut through the red tape and get us on their schedule. Their price was fair and they hit their dates and had me up and running with about 10 days to spare. As an experienced (now retired) project manager I can say that ‘on time and on budget’ is a home run. Seapoint hit it out of the park. Thanks Vince.

I contacted Seapoint Solar in early October on a Thursday. Spoke to Vince on Friday and got a quote the same day for a new roof and solar panels. Seapoint handled everything for me including dealing with JCPL & the township and permits. Communication was excellent before, during and after the project. As promised, before Thanksgiving, I had a new roof and an operational solar system generating power. Still waiting on the township for the inspection but Seapoint is handling that as well. The whole team from Vince to Taylor, Tiffany, Rich and crew were professional and courteous. I would highly, highly recommend Seapoint Solar for your project. Couldn't be happier.

From the planning to execution it was a smooth solar installation on my roof and later also keeps updating me continuously on the credits and progress and approvals and incentives and new offers ; takes good care of the customers well ; great job;

Stay away from Seapoint Solar and don’t rely on reviews that may not be genuine. My experience with Seapoint Solar (Vince Imperiale) was the worst I’ve ever had with any company. They are also currently under investigation by NJ Consumer Affairs for deceptive practices. What Happened in My Case • Contract manipulation: They intentionally left out an end date in the contract — a direct consumer protection violation. Also they design their contracts such that they get to keep all your money even if they mess up. • Drastic tone change after payment: Before signing, they were extremely friendly and responsive. After they received ~70% of the payment, the tone shifted to rude, dismissive, or completely unresponsive. • Repeated broken promises: Every timeline they gave verbally and through text was missed. Months passed with zero progress until the project became impossible to move forward. • Invoice deception: They attempted to charge far more than the contract amount while deceptively calling it a small percentage that matches the contract.” Only after calculating did the large discrepancy become clear. • No action, no communication: Despite taking thousands of dollars upfront, they did nothing for months and ignored follow‑ups. • Threats instead of accountability: When I withdrew due to their inaction, they refused to refund my money, sit on it for months and threatened a lien unless I paid the remaining balance. Free big money scheme. • Refund only through my credit card company: After a full and thorough investigation, my credit card company ruled in my favor and recovered the entire amount. This company is already facing multiple civil cases. Others have reported receiving fewer panels than promised, lower‑quality solar panel equipment and similar deceptive practices. I got lucky I was out of it before getting stuck for life with anything like that. Bottom Line - Companies with such deceptive practices do not exist for too long, leaving customers stranded especially in an industry where you need to rely on them for 25-30 years. This is the first negative review I’ve ever written, but it’s an important one. I’m hoping I can help others avoid becoming a victim of their unethical practices.
