I am writing this review on behalf of my mother, who recently had to deal with major changes to her health plan. We were referred here by her doctor’s office, and I am so glad we followed that recommendation. From the moment we walked in, the office felt very welcoming. We were assisted by Kelly Phan, who was fantastic. She took the time to kindly go over every available option for my mother’s specific needs. Thanks to her help, we successfully enrolled in a new plan that allowed my mother to keep her same primary doctor and all of her specialists. If you need someone patient and knowledgeable, I highly recommend asking for Kelly!
My experience with SBHIS Insurance Services began in 2025 after attending a Medicare 101 seminar led by Jenny Ho at Dynasty Restaurant, I was immediately impressed by her deep understanding of the complexities within the industry, specifically regarding Medicare Supplements (MediGap) and Advantage plans. Jenny made my transition from employer-provided insurance to Medicare seamless, expertly guiding me through the selection of a MediGap plan and a prescription drug plan. Her extensive knowledge makes her an invaluable resource, and I highly recommend Jenny Ho and the SBHIS team to anyone navigating their insurance options.
SBHIS in San Jose is Not a reliable insurance agency. My parents have Medicare and for the last 3 years, the agents kept switching their health plans annually saying it would benefit them, but in the end all their medications and diaper supplies were not covered by new health plan. So sick of these Unethical agents keep using elderly for their financial gain. Stay away from this office location.
