Terrible driving on 465. Going too fast with a full load in the fast lane - letting rocks spill all over the place at 75 miles per hour.
I was also just the victim of dangerous, aggressive driving from a Rock Transport driver. Concerning to see so many other reviews mention this exact fact. I would question their commitment to safety.
My vehicle was hit by a rock that came off their truck (Truck RT-64) on 12/1/21. I got truck info and pulled over to check my car. I immediately called the company. Since I didn't take a pic of truck that was still moving and put myself in danger they won't pay for THEIR damages. Very unprofessional. BEWARE of them!
I'm sure it's a great company but they acccidently dumped rock/stone on Allisonville Rd (bad enough) then merging onto 465 the truck again was spreading rock/stones all over the interstate. With fast moving cars there were rocks flying everywhere! Surprised my windshield didn't crack because of getting shot at by rocks! Had to file a claim, I have chips all over my windshield and hood. I wasn't even following the truck! Not very careful about securing your load.
Very dangerous driving on Allisonville Rd. He cut us off, no turn signal, almost hit our vehicle, then brake checked us. I let stupid driving slide when someone is working and I'm not, but not with my baby in the car. Do better. 11am, Monday, April 15th, 2024
Two of these truck drivers were driving on 465 so recklessly and with no consideration how dangerous those large vehicles can be in an accident. I have a dash camera that has both front and rear facing cameras, I was doing 5 over the speed limit and one of the drivers tailgated me so close that my rear dash camera could not even get the front of the vehicle in the picture. That would mean he would need to be less than 2-3 feet from my rear bumper with my child in the car at 65mph.
One truck cut through an active construction zone on Olio road to avoid a line at a light. Two trucks used a left turn lane to jump in front of a line of traffic after the right lane ended. Speed exceeded the speed limit after that and all three trucks were loaded. Complete disregard for safety and rules of the road.
A rock transport truck from this company sped up to very close to my bumper on north bound 69 and on the 96th street exit ramp. Very dangerous. *The truck has no license plate.* Male driver. INDOT number 1461849 IN, and RT-52. Sept 6, 2022. 12:30 pm. Reported made to the police. I see this isn’t the first report of dangerous aggressive driving by a driver from this company.
