They cannot deliver goods undamaged. They are horrible at handling freight. When you call to tell them or complain, they don’t care. Complete unprofessional service. I have requested all my suppliers to stop using Old Dominion Freight. They will never deliver freight to my business again.
I should have started using their services sooner. 7 pallets and 7 undamaged boxes. In four years I had actually never seen the pallet that my boxes are sent on until I used OD, amazing. Highly recommend.
I mostly get TVs and electronics shipped to us, but I have noticed that Old Dominion is a carrier that truly cares about getting their cargo to its destination undamaged! And I believe that goal is held throughout their company, at least as far as I can tell. So whenever I get a choice of who to use, I always ask for Old Dominion.
We used U-Pack which then sourced Old Dominion. These guys were excellent to work with and arrived for pick-up & drop-off in a timely fashion. Our move was from NJ to TX and it was done with great ease. Mr. Ambrosio was great! He’s very punctual
After several terrible experiences with FedEx we asked our vendors if there was another method of shipping we could use. They suggested Old Dominion so we gave them a shot. Right away we were impressed that they were able to deliver our packages on time or earlier than expected. We left a note to call ahead of time and they ACTUALLY did that. When the delivery driver arrived he was super friendly and quick to unload everything. The next experience we had was the exact same. The next experience after that, we had broken the phone that they were to call ahead of time and called the main office to update the information and get a status on the delivery. The office staff was super quick to respond, call the driver, update our info and give us an ETA. I love that these people do exactly what they say they will, on time, and with a smile. AND most importantly, our packages are never damaged unlike with the other guys. I'll NEVER go back to FedEx.
