I was in San Antonio with my husband last week and stopped into Niche at Pearl. This place is a gem! It has been awhile since I’ve updated my wardrobe, and I left feeling like a new person. Ask for Lieschen if you visit! She is so bright and easy to talk to, and she put together so many amazing looks for me - without being pushy AT ALL! She has such a good eye, and she was so invested in making sure that I felt good about all of the options. It is not an exaggeration to say that it is the best shopping experience I’ve had in years. I love my new clothes!

My husband and I were spending an afternoon at the Pearl. Walked by the store and the window displays were very refreshing and attractive. We went inside and the ambiance of the store was amazing, the merchandise very appealing, the artwork was very impressive. Marty welcomed us in and shared insights about the store and the merchandise. There was one other associate in the store Lieschen and another client. We all engaged into conversation. I selected some items to try on Marty set me up in a fitting room and made sure that my husband was comfortable suggested that he sit down . We were both very impressed with the artwork and Marty asked us if we were interested in meeting the artist…to our surprise the artist Blanquita is also the store director. She shared some insight on her work. I purchased two items that I love and I will definitely be a client of Niche! Outstanding Client Service ladies!!!

I had a wonderful time shopping at this charming store this Christmas season! I went based on a recommendation from my wife's cousin and I was not disappointed. They offered more variety than I expected and I wound up buying many (maybe too many) things for my wife and could've bought even more, honestly! Everything in the store is locally made here in San Antonio and the staff is so friendly, courteous and full of recommendations that I could've shopped for another hour...and I'm NOT a shopper. Just a wonderful overall experience that I highly recommend. Definitely check Niche out if you love to support local businesses or just love going to The Pearl.

Probably my favorite place in San Antonio to shop due to the selection. I was there right before Christmas visiting family and was helped by Leeshen who helped me find the cutest outfit for an interview I had coming up. She also helped me pick out some last minute gifts for my dad and uncle which they loved. Will definitely be back!

Love this boutique !! Unique finds, friendly and knowledgeable staff with an eye for styling the perfect outfit or gift. This store covers all the bases. I felt comfortable in the inviting space with salespeople there to help me with any questions I had. They took time to wrap up my purchase with care. I will definitely return when I need that special something for a friend or myself. :)

LOVE LOVE LOVE this spot! Came here with my 82 year old Mom and my 18 year old daughter, and all three of us found pieces that we could not live without. Also, I was a big Kathleen Sommers fan, and like KS, Niche has seamstresses that sew most of their unique designs. The clothing pieces we purchase have been very flattering, and the jewelry is unlike any I have seen elsewhere. DEFINITELY stop by here when you come to the Pearl, you will not be disappointed!

My sister is a frequent flyer of this amazing boutique and after talking to her I decided to introduce my Dad to what this place had to offer. He is old school Mexican American and I did not think he would find anything but I was wrong. In the back they had a nice selection of men’s shirts and shorts that fit him perfectly. Most of the items are for women, and are priced nicely. If you are looking for a change to any part of your fashion attire this is the perfect place to explore. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the decor and the variety of items found here. I enjoyed shopping here so much I took several pictures. This place lives up to and deserves all 5 stars!

My husband and I went to the Pearl in search of clothes for our upcoming vacation. As I was browsing, I turned around and found that one of the workers was standing very close facing me. I thought it was an accidental run in so I apologized and excused myself for not being aware of my surroundings. We found a small men’s collection when I called my husband over and told him that I thought the same worker was staring at me while I browsed. While he looked at the shirts, I was trying on sunglasses and the worker was staring very intensely. Twice I looked over and she never broke gaze. There was no conversation or even a greeting when we walked in. My husband and I are both Mexican. We left without any purchases because of how uncomfortable the situation was. I wouldn’t have made a review but I decided to google the place and found that another person went through the same experience.

While the store itself is eclectic, cute and carries very nice clothing and accessories my issue was with the manager (possibly she was the store owner). My sisters and I were browsing while the manager was on our heels, watching us closely and looking nervous. She abruptly took a headband out of my sisters hands, took it to the register and began inspecting it. When asked if something was wrong she became embarrassed and said she was just looking to see how the material was folded. We both made our purchases anyway. As we were leaving she about broke her neck watching and making sure we left. I couldn’t in good conscience let it go. I went back inside and very calmly and politely told her how she made us feel profiled and uncomfortable. Rather than apologizing she began to tell me her husband was born in Mexico. It was at this point my sister told her to just stop. Why couldn’t she just say I’m sorry and let that be the end of it? She continued to say she didn’t mean anything by her behavior but never did she say “I’m sorry”. I mean seriously between my sisters and I we were collectively wearing nearly $30,000 in jewelry! We honestly had no need to steal a $25.00 headband! She didn’t bother to really take stock of us. She unfortunately made us feel like she only saw Mexican women who were out to steal.
