We recently had solar panels and associated battery installed by Neil Kelly. The project was completed faster than we anticipated and everything is working as planned and promised. Jo Blinham was our initial contact. Jo laid out how the installation would work and created the plan and budget. Jo reviewed all the incentives and documents and tax advantages offered by PGE, Solar Trust, and IRS. Jo went over options including a car charger, smart SPAN electrical panel, Tesla battery, and panel layout with projected energy production. Everything went exactly as described and promised. At the completion Jo delivered a useful binder that contains all the information on the panels, battery, electrical panel, inverter, installation, and finances. Mike coordinated the project. He kept it moving along, ensured that the work site was in excellent condition, and made it happen. We were very impressed with the ability to get our brick patio looking perfect after a trench was required for new conduit. The project was started earlier than we would have expected, and finished faster than we expected. We are very happy with the solar system, and very happy with Neil Kelly solar. We will consider using Neil Kelly for any other large projects as they arise.
Start to finish I felt like I was making a good choice for my solar project. Neil Kelly is a longtime trusted company in the Pacific Northwest and they used top quality products in our install. They answered all my questions as they came up, started and finished the project on time and on budget, and I feel safe knowing that if anything comes up in the future, Neil Kelly will be there to help. SO excited to find such a fine quality firm to install our solar panels and battery. The team was superior in ability, attitude, and fun. I really liked the team they sent over, who did some grungy work in our crawl space, and they did some wonderful work in the new electrical box. I had a great experience with Neil Kelly for my solar installation from beginning to the end. Jo was very helpful and patient with all my concerns and questions regarding the build options. Installation was within scheduled time and they replied promptly any of my questions during the waiting period. The price was competitive with other installers. Installation itself was very quick and all done in just a work-day. Overall, I highly recommend them!
Got solar installed at the end of last year. They walked us through all the options and project timeline in a very helpful way. The whole team at NK was easy to work with, they took care of all the permitting and incentives. We are very happy with the installation and quality of work.
Our install was delayed a couple months due to staffing issues. Otherwise we were happy with our project with NK Solar. The installation took four days total. They used our garage to store project panels and battery. So we had to park one car on the street for a week which wasn't a problem for us. All the NK staff we worked with were friendly and professional. All construction debris was cleaned up. Installed equipment looks good. They were the lowest estimate of the three companies we asked for bids. I have recommended them to several friends.
