AMAZING WEEKLY DEALS?...YES!!! FIRST, IF NOT ONLY LIQUOR STORE IN THE REGION TO OFFER SERVICE INDUSTRY APPRECIATION DISCOUNTS ....Yet still, I go out of my way from Mission Kansas just because the value in the experience. Ultimately starting, but not ending with the extensive knowledge of personable team members like Tony and Brett.
One of the best places in kansas city for beer!
Always friendly staff and competitive prices. Only knock is they close well before 1:30AM but hey, that’s their choice. There is a QuikTrip across the street if you arrive after they close but before 1:30AM
Big selection. If you can't find it here, you ain't lookin! Friendly staff and good recommendations. Too bad they didn't have any Blantons bourbon. Been looking everywhere in KC and Omaha for it.
Excellent customer service -- always someone willing to go search the coolers or wine racks for you. Nice selection of local beers in addition to the standards, not too intimidating a wine selection. And they're open late!
Great selection of beers, wines, spirits, and all the other stuff. Also has a very good selection of top shelf liquor. Employees are very knowledgeable about their products. Mike helped me select a good sipping whiskey for a gift, and his recommendation was spot on!
Excellent staff, very knowledgeable, great selection. I'm a craft beer fan, and walking g through the doors at two different locations, I was greeted with a friendly smile and the staff were more than willing to answer any questions I might have had.
I was checked out by an older gentleman who was rude. I was inquiring about a local beer with interest. He quickly and rudely cut me off without answering my question and simply just said "ok." I REALLY enjoy the new Mike's. Its clean, the selection on all things is great, and they actually had two things I've been looking for that Tipsy's does not, its just too bad their clerks aren't friendly or knowledgeable about their inventory.
I had a really nice chat with the guy stocking the shelves; they didn't have Jokers Wit by Boulevard or the ( very specific) pretzel beer I was looking for. Grabbed a six pack of purple haze just to be polite..... lucky for me the cashier refused to serve me without ID. I'm 35 with a full beard. I wonder if he was hitting on me😂. Nice conversation, free air-conditioning, and a treat for my dog ! Im not sure what they are getting out of it but I really enjoyed my trip to Mike's!
Haven't had one creepy experience here like I've had at any other liquor store ever. The people there seem cool, and I like that they dont leer at anyone. Hope it stays that way! Oh also, the selection and prices are great, so give them a visit.
