Fernando and his team are amazing at what they do and they are also very kind and generous. We could not find anyone that would fix my mom's minivan. Not even Kia knew what the issue was with it, until someone recommended Labastida Automotive. I spoke to Fernando over the phone first, and he invited me to have our vehicle taken in. He took the time to inspect mom's minivan. When he found out what the issues were, he called to give a very detailed explanation. He knows how costly mechanic work is, so I right away sensed that he was not trying to cheat us in any way because he told us to take our time, and that those other issues he found could be fixed in the long run. Other places would like and probably say they needed to be fixed asap! It doesn't end here, another issue arose days later. we called Fernando and he sent his team to our house to check out the minivan. It wasn't anything they did wrong. We accidentally must have left the light on and it drained our battery. Fernando's team helped my mom with that issue. Mom asked how much, and they said it was nothing. This proves how nice and generous they are to want to help out others, especially momma bear who is a senior citizen. God Bless you Fernando and Labastida! We now have our go-to RELIABLE mechanic team!

Provided quality service and were very communicative of the status and repairs along the way! I also appreciate their honesty in not doing an oil change when it wasn't necessary for my car at the time.

I’m so glad i decided to give Labastida a try when seeking help for a particular issue with my vehicle. Not only did they fix it, but they were able to inform me of existing problems that I couldn’t see. At the end of it all, I got my vehicle back good as new and in a happy customer.

Just took my Tahoe here today my dad referred me 3yrs ago an they passed emissions test code,,now anotha Tahoe same thing gotta pass emissions test 😝 they’re great

Ive taken 2 cars to them and both times i got them back with things not working. The first i rescheduled to get fixed but then they called and told me they were closing that day. Besides that they diagnosed and found out the main problem that was wrong with my car when 2 other mechanics couldn't which is the only reason i gave 2 stars. The second time they fixed a problem on my other car 1 of the keys wasnt working and the camera wasnt when i got it back. I was supposed to bring it back in the next day but again they couldn't take me. They also aren't the fastest at fixing the cars. Me and my wife work and need our cars we cant afford for them to be in the shop for over a week. I do think they diagnose very well. But they arent checking the cars thoroughly to make sure everything is good afterwards

Fernando and his team replaced my fuel pump in a very timely and efficient manner. They on top of keeping me updated every step of the way. Will definitely trust them again with my car and recommend them to family and friends!

Labastida Automotive is for the community. Thankfully they took us in last minute had an oil leak and needed some brake pads replaced. Amazing customer service if you need someone reliable take your vehicle to get serviced here

These are my go to guys in Chicago. Literally found them on tik tok (dot judge me) with raving reviews. I had to replace a strut system and spark plugs. Dealer tried to charge me +$5k for the job. I needed up buying the parts for around $1k and got a hold of them. Here’s where they won me. I delivered my car and parts on a Wednesday, they called me on Thursday alerting me that I was missing a key part. Called my local dealership and the part is on shortage and not sure when they will get new orders. La Bastida called like 5 Honda dealers within a 50 mile radius and alerted me of where I could go to get the part. I drive there on a Friday morning and bought the part and came to them by early afternoon. They hold my car over the weekend and have it ready to go by Monday afternoon. Total, everything cost me under $1600-1700 (~$3.5k savings). They’re honest and do good work.

Not sure where to really start here. I live nowhere near this auto repair shop and was referred by a friend. The folks here at Labadista took great care of my car and my concerns. I fully trusted in their process and they did not disappoint. I live 30 miles away and have visited twice for different issues and will gladly drive 30 miles again.
