James at JP Engineering is one of the most trustworthy and genuine contractors I've ever worked with. He is singleminded in his determination to get your project done on time and on budget. We hired him for a major remodel and addition for our home in Los Altos and he managed to complete the process from planning submittal to final living permit in ~12 months. For the record, there are houses on our street and around our neighborhood that have been under construction for 2+ years. He has a great relationship with the city and goes out of his way to make sure everything is done timely and efficiently. I would absolutely recommend his services as a one-stop shop for your dream home.
