I consider myself very lucky to have found Miguel Silva about 10 months ago. Actually, I came into this country not having a clue of how the financial system works.Quickly , I became buried into hospitals and credit card bills and, my credit score was then 519. When I met Miguel, he gave me hope and broke down to me things I will need to do to positively impact my credit. He gave me a road map and Within 3 months, I saw a tremendous amount of negative items being deleted from my record. My credit score was getting higher and higher. My husband and I saw Miguel Last year in 2017 to try to fix our credit and get a home loan. My husband is a veteran who unfortunately got ran around with his schooling and his GI bill did not kick in as soon as it should have, so he got loans on top of it. He didn't remember getting the loans and ultimately he defaulted on his student loans. We had no idea he was in default until we met with Miguel and went over the credit and then that year lost his tax check. He told us we didn't really need him since our biggest issue was the defaulted loans and lack of new revolving credit. He gave us specific instructions on how to move forward for the next year and maximize our score. I did exactly what he told us (minus the last two things we are doing now) and its been about 10 months since we started his recommendations. We have gone up over 150 points!!!! I talked to a lady today who tried to convince us that buying a car would help get our credit boosted since we are at a little bit of a standstill now, but I remembered what he told me previously about what would and would not help in the process. I called just to bother him and ask for his advice. He took the time out of his day after not speaking or meeting with me for almost a year to explain to me why it was NOT a good idea and the last two things we needed to do to boost that score the last 60 points we need. He is very helpful, knowledgeable and patient with ridiculous questions and my scatter brain lol. I would recommend him 100% to anyone who needs advice or a boost with their credit. Can’t say enough about Miguel and his staff! Very professional and always there when I have a question.
