Best coffee in NW Portland. A matter of opinion, but I’ve studied and been to many tastings. Espresso at Haven is balanced to perfection.
Finally! Someone has made a breakfast burrito worthy of Portland's foodie reputation. The burrito has great seasoning and the right amount of heat. If you're looking for a great protein hit after your post-Forest park run, this is it.
A quaint coffee shop with delicious pastries. Although I was disappointed at the limited choices of pastries, the Earl Gray tea is probably the best I've had in Portland. Give it a try!
I’ve lived in Slabtown/NW Portland for about 2 years now and after trying all the coffee shops in the area, Haven is probably my favorite! The drinks are so good, and they also have delicious pastries and a small selection of breakfast food. The location is so cute and cozy, and the baristas are always so friendly and quick to make drinks without sacrificing the quality. One of the best things about Haven is that the quality and service are always very consistent, which is something i appreciate as someone who buys coffee pretty much every day! 10/10 recommend checking them out.
Best coffee shop in Northwest, potentially the state. Fantastic chai latte, eggnog latte, and cappuccino. The for here cups are a lovely ceramic and definitely elevated the experience. Baristas are always nice as well!

Yummmmm, great coffee, the filter and espresso drinks are the best, and I have bought many beans as well. I'm very impressed and everyone who works there is kind and helpful, and the store is relaxed and quiet, I hate coffee shops that have blasting music or too uptempo, they have nailed the quiet vibe.
We love walking our dog over to Haven and go here weekly. Best spot in town for matcha. The staff is friendly. Food options are limited, baked goods are so-so and the seating is pretty tight. The community feel and unreal matcha outweigh those other things for us though.
got a hazelnut oatmilk latte and a veggie breakfast burrito. the coffee was ok, but i prob wouldn’t come here again for it. the burrito was decent, had a unique almost popcorn like flavor to it. it’s a small but cute space.
