Harmony Baby Concierge made the process of finding and scheduling a night nurse so easy. They also made payment seamless when working with Carrot. The best part though was working with Ahja. I did a lot of interviews and with different companies and I kept coming back to HBC, because of her. We ended up working together for 6 weeks and it broke my heart when the contract was up! She was knowledgeable, kind, warm, loved being with our daughter, always checked in on me, was flexible as we adjusted timings for support. I couldn’t have asked for a better support system. We love you, Ahja!!
We worked with harmony for support with sleep training when our daughter was 4 months old. Harmony matched us with Brooklyn, who worked with us for 6 weeks. Working with Brooklyn was a game changer for us. Our baby was still requiring being rocked to sleep so Brooklyn helped her become an independent sleeper. Brooklyn was very supportive in her approach and always made sure we were comfortable with each night of care. Not only was our baby fully sleep trained by the end of the 6 weeks with Brooklyn, but she can also self soothe and put herself back to sleep for any night wakes. This has made overcoming sickness and teething a breeze. We highly recommend working with Harmony, and we loved working with Brooklyn!
We used Ajha as our NCS and she was incredible! She was very reliable, so good with our son, and even went the extra mile and helped watch our daughter a few days she didn’t have school. She was part of our family and was a huge support through a tough time. Couldn’t have been happier!
Our experience with Harmony was nothing short of amazing! Having this support postpartum is truly life changing. Alexis was always quick to respond and helpful. Our NCS was extremely knowledgeable and her passion really shined through. We plan to have more children in the future and plan to use them again!
We used Harmony Baby Concierge to find nighttime help for our infant in Austin, TX. Over several months we worked with a few different newborn care specialists (NCSs) that Harmony connected us with. These NCSs ranged from OK to Excellent, with some in between who I would rate as Good. My 1-star review applies not to these individual NCSs but rather to Harmony as an agency, whose job is to coordinate with customers and make sure that they receive the services they're paying for. The biggest problem we had with Harmony is that they did not at all respect our preferences for days of the week that we expressed in our contract (in response to Harmony asking about them). For example, when setting up our contract, we indicated clearly that we would like 4 specific nights of the week during the period when we would pay for help 4 nights per week. But after the contract was signed and that period approached, Harmony informed us that they could only provide help according to a different 4-day schedule. When we asked why they could not honor our preferences, Harmony responded that certain specific schedules - not the one we wanted - are "standard in the industry." However, if this is actually the case and Harmony knew that all along, then why do they even bother asking customers for their preferences up front? My sense is that Harmony misrepresents the amount of control that customers have to determine their schedule in the beginning, and then once the contract is signed, they fail to honor customer preferences. Beyond that, we experienced several frustrating last-minute NCS cancellations. On one of them Harmony claimed that the cancellation was justified due to inclement weather. However, local schools and government offices were still operating as usual, and we still had to go to work. Can the NCS or Harmony just unilaterally decide to not provide the service that we've agreed upon? In other instances there were last-minute schedule changes without sufficient explanation or advanced notice. While we were happy with some of the individual NCSs that we had, we certainly do not recommend working with Harmony Baby Concierge.
