Julie Glover has been very effective. I am a lawyer and I tried to do my own disability claim, I gave up after 4-5 yrs. Julie got me 80%, she is tenacious. I am Agent Orange. My only criticism is that she could respond to client communications more promptly, but when she finally does it always spot on. VA is slow, but she knows how to navigate and appeal the system. I started using GloverLuck back in 2019, they fought all the way for me and got me full disability with the VA. Be patient because it does take some time, but they know what they are doing to get what every veteran deserves.
I really do not have the words to properly thank Julie Glover for what she did for me, so I have decided to do this … In July of 2007 I was forced to file a 1151 claim because of a knee injury I could not move on from; (after the fact it was substantiated the injury had been caused by a Feb 2006 total knee replacement surgical error performed by the VA). I had no other options at that time as the VA was refusing to acknowledge the injury on the record, and as a self-employed commercial fisherman I had an old business and financial liabilities to deal with. And then things got worse… Because of a long term untreated bony impingement injury to my patella I developed joint atrophy, which in turn effectuated an unrecoverable over flexion injury from a slip while sitting in a chair. As par for course in that time frame, the VA local region refused to treat and/or acknowledge the over flexion / ligamentous stretching injury as its cause was directly linked to my still pending 1151 claim. For around 13 years I was unable to find the kind of legal representation I needed, and the only thing I accomplished was pushing paperwork through to various VA appeal venues. Finally, after reviewing the true medical facts, an out of state veteran’s legal firm asked my permission to pass the claim over to Julie Glover. Within a few days Julie was able to see through the years of convoluted due process, and then put her own resources at risk to get me the expert medical opinion I needed. After the fact Julie was able to get my claim granted by the BVA in around six months. Although it took a considerably longer to get it upgraded to an 80% (a TDIU) 100% pay scale, the icing on the cake was when Julie got my back pay approved at 100% from July of 2007 to Aug of 2021. (from the 2021 date moving forward I was already getting paid at a 100% pay scale (TDIU)). I have to admit throughout the years I had been trying to overcome VA local region’s manipulation of the medical facts, as well as my background, I because somewhat traumatized; they had stolen my life and left me injured in what was basically a home-bound environment for over 8 years. From the get go though, Julie was patient with me, and helped me work through VA mandated legal due process. In the final analysis the staff at GloverLuck are good people, very knowledgeable of both VA and Federal law, and know the right people within the VA legal system to get things done. I highly recommend GloverLuck LLP to any veteran that has a service-connected disability and/or has sustained a life altering in-system injury, and need help with getting closure. Thanks Julie… Bruce
