Great price and easy to use system. We didnt have to pay the driver until the vehicle was delivered, which is very secure. David A was our contact, and he was right on top of the communication!! When you buy a vehicle from out of state, you really want to get it quickly, and these people were on the gas!!!
Spend the extra hundred dollars to use another transport service. I used Global Auto some weeks ago ship my car to move out of state. I called to confirm details WEEKS before my departure from Dallas and told them not to pick up my car on/after a certain Saturday because I would be leaving town. They told me that was not an issue and it could be done. About a day and some change before my flight I got a call saying they were going to pick up my car on Saturday. I told them that when I first scheduled with Global Auto three weeks out that I would be leaving town on that day. They wouldn’t reschedule the pickup time. The shipping coordinator even tried to TWIST MY WORDS to make it seem like I said to pickup my car on Sunday. He even tried to persuade me to leave the keys to my car INSIDE THE UNLOCKED VEHICLE so that the driver could pick it up when I didn’t have family to hand over the keys. I had to pay well over a hundred dollars to reschedule my flight last minute and switch my moving logistics so that I could hand them the keys to my car. They weren’t able to stick to the pickup AND drop off time that they had told me. Save yourself the headache and use another company.
Although I had some reservations about using an auto transport service, I had a wonderful experience. My car was delivered on schedule, and the driver was welcoming and competent.
At first they are quite understanding and responsive before signing the contract. However when it comes to pick up, they didn’t arrive at the time they were supposed to and were also suggesting my friend to drive to them. About the delivery, they charged my friend who helps me pick up the car who has no way to concat me for being out of country. I have my credit card on hold, why would you charge my friend and now I have to pay cash back to my friend. Also, they charged $100 for having stuff in the car, they didn’t have that in the contract, when I told them, their salesman told me it’s ok.
Had a contract to deliver by a certain date for an event. Told me they couldn't deliver on time one day before the date. Ive used many transport companies and never had this problem. Don't waste your time with Global Auto Transportation.
Karl was very professional and caring keeping me updated and found a driver that could pick up and deliver on the dates I needed. The driver Joe gave me a status update every day and met me on time at the designated parking lot at both ends. I would absolutely use global auto transport again
