Nothing but retirees and same overpriced stuff, should be retiree hours, active duty have to wait additional time for food at px or commissary because retirees and their dependents have to go on our lunch hour!! And there is no priority for those of us that have to get back to work while they sit or shop for hours!

One of the bigger and best stocked AAFES PX's in San Antonio. If you are looking for discount prices they always have plenty of merchandise on numerous clearance racks. If you are shopping for high end clothing and accesories they have them in stock as well.

I haven’t been here in several years. They have made several improvements to this location. They have kiosk for self check out. You show your ID before you can access the area. They do have someone to check you out if you do not want to use the kiosk. The prices seem to have increased, which is a little disappointing. They had a good selection of vendors outside the exchange. They had a good amount of scooters for people that needed them for shopping in the exchange. I always have to get one for my mother, so that was nice to have a scooter available.

Brand new PX, nice and clean.. here's the problem though: horrible parking situation, there isn't nearly enough parking than required. The available parking spots are awkwardly made! people can't pass each other and it's all way too narrow.. think twice where you look for a spot if you come with a truck.

Been loving the new PX since it opened. One of the better PXs IMO, lovely staff and some great food choices.

This is the biggest exchange store I’ve ever been to, and probably the nicest. I don’t know exactly how new it is, because when you’re going to it you drive past an old one and it is definitely torn down. This one is like going to the mall. They have a lot of things that other exchanges don’t have. I really like it! Highly recommended!

They need to open up more gates during the rush. Food court was awesome. I wish the food was decent at the hospital! You world think so????

This is the fourth iteration of AAFES Ive seen since the 70's. They keep getting better and better. The prices are too high (all old people like me say this...take that with a grain of salt). But, quality and selection are pretty good. Plus, no sales tax.

Hmm. New, but maybe not better? Arrived Feb 1984, the PX had an electronic section that would rival NASA. No mas. This new PX is about the same as Fort Hood but with less selection. Prices are high, but you already knew that. The clearance selections are top-notch. I only got yelled at once at the self-checkout. I informed the associate that it was my first day on the job and to please forgive me. I'm not sure if I like this new iteration of the PX,BX,NAS. Plotted. Scouts Out.
