WARNING!!!!!!!! RUN FROM FORREST TRANSPORTATION!!!!! If I can give a negative -100 stars for the most deceptive company I would. I applied for this company. Took a urine drug test, passed. Then was asked to take a hair follicle test. So because of my religious beliefs of not cutting my hair I had to research by calling Quest laboratory and asked them about whether there was any test equivalent in value of the hair follicle test and he told me a fingernail is equivalent and used by other companies were religious hair restrictions were possible. Next, I went to a lab forrest suggested and took the fingernail testing. After passing the fingernail tests, I was told to do a road test. But, before I go into what happened. Let me explain, I am a veteran driver with well near 20 years of experience driving in mountains, extreme weather like storms, snow, etc.coast to coast with no tickets or accidents and being away from my family for years. So, I talked to Dave who is over hiring while working for another company where I was driving from Phoenix, Arizona to Denver, Colorado at the time driving in and out of the Rockies. when I got back from driving a semi truck with a 53ft trailer, from Denver, Albuquerque, Flagstaff, and then down the mountains to Phoenix, Az I took a driver test for Forrest Transportation with a guy named Jeremy, I performed my pretrip, perfect, coupled attached the pig-tail and air-lines and dollied up perfectly no problem in yard that i knew of. I pulled out of yard properly didnt even touch a curb with a tire my turns were all perfect. I was very careful with making sure every turn was a uniform turn. Used my signal before any turning or switching lanes. Jumped on freeway other than a few aggressive drivers who were not me, I had no problems no hiccups at all. While driving he never mentioned anything about me making any mistakes. Jeremy and i talked about me having first responders in my family. He talked the whole time about his family and his children he even mentioned he was having a wedding anniversary. So when I got back, I backed in their 40 ft trailer ( I'm used of 53ft trailers myself) in their spot easily, no problem un-coupled the trailer from the tractor and moved it back into its space. I asked Jeremy did I pass the road test, he said yes you did. He said I did good. Jeremy, told me about were the orientation was, gave me a guy phone #'I could call to ask questions that I was concerned about then I went home. The next day I was sent a email saying that I did not pass my driver test. I realized the test was done by a unqualified person who was a maintenance mechanic with NO CDL , who never drove a commercial truck, especially a semi truck. This is when I realized that the company showed no care or compentency to hire an experienced driver tester or someone who knows how to drive area in trucking. I felt Jeremy was rushing me anyway and was on the phone more concerned of getting back to his mechanic shop to help find a bolt that they could use for a mechanical part or picking up that part then anything. I also realized that this company were a den of liars and could and are capable of putting out negative and false information on a drivers. That if they could not tell truths through the hiring process that if you were to get on with FORREST TRANSPORTATION, THEY WILL LIE ABOUT EVERYTHING! Watch out for this company they are shady and deceptive. After I posted this review, sent me a email said my coupling of the truck seemed unsafe. And again this assessment of my work skills was coming from a employee who never drove a truck. FACTS they couldn't use my driving skills against me so they used a coupling the trailer wrong as an excuse for lying about the LIE that i did not pass the driving test. The only way a truck won't couple if the trailer landing gear is up and the trailer fell on the ground or the trailer is dollied up to high and the kingpin pin passes over the kingping. Driver rebuttal: I will need that video evidence, keep it thanks for the idea 💡
