We worked with First Call Logistics on a project in Pennsylvania. They were able to adjust the trucks delivery time to meet a jobsite challenge with ease. They were very easy to communicate and work with.

First & last time working with this company. Booked a load with Dan, was told my driver he would be a “work in” that he would be looking at 2-2.5 hour waiting period to get loaded. Turned into a long 12 hours instead! Broker Dan refused to pay my driver any detention. Keep in mind load was max legal weight, was on the load for 4 days for a short distance & was also delivered on a holiday. (The pay was fair for the circumstances) but being held for 12 hours at the shipper with no detention being paid out not so much. Not a good first impression.
The customer reps I work with are quick to respond. They keep me updated and are always a pleasure to work with. They are easy to get a hold of and they work around last min changes and needs. Good team. Also, a few of the drivers they have hired have been very polite and have been reasonable regarding pricing considering the current atmosphere.
Broker deducted $100 due to a "restack" which the receiver never mentioned nor notated on the bills or the lumper. Not only that, but they did not pay detention either. They are not a good brokerage and will not be working with them again. Be cautious when using this company, as others have noted they tend to deduct for a lot of things and yet, as in our case, did not provide any sort of proof that there was an actual restack. In addition to all that, we invoiced the load back on 12.01 and they have a pay date of 01.23, way past 30 days.
I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with Rylan McCarthy from First Call Logistics. The various loads we have worked with are always friendly and helpful, and the loads are as described. Load compensation is fantastic, I highly recommend them
Very helpful company. Mr. chuck is really good in getting loads right away. Their communication is really good and also very helpful. Love working with them we get at least 3 loads a week.
I recently worked with First Call and I had Eric Alexander as my broker. He was awesome to work with, very respectful and fair. Would recommend working with him if you can.
Shalaine with First Call is the best. I really enjoy working with her. But more than that, I love her meme game. It's the best in the biz. But seriously, if you ever need something moved, she's your go to. Just send it.
not a professional broker, we delivered the cargo, we paid for a lumper at ALDI. the broker wanted photos of the unloading, but the driver couldn't enter the docks and the broker didn't give us the money for lumper fees, saying there was nothing they could do, but we paid to unload your load with seal intact. avoid :)
