This was my first time coming in since they moved locations and I was SO impressed by their plus sizes. I found almost so many cute clothing items in a 3X or 4X and they had many great brands including foxblood. The shop itself is cute, clean and have nice dressing rooms for trying things on. Would absolutely recommend, will definitely be back.
I've been buying my Doc's from FashioNation for years, from way back when they were across from Wax Trax! up to their newer Broadway location, and I have to say, their selection and attention to detail has not waned. It is always nice to see Paul and the gang, helping pick out styles, answering questions about upkeep, or just talking shop about trends and branding. Everyone I've had the pleasure of meeting at FN has been super-helpful and cool to chat with, and when I recently took my 24 year old nephew to FN so he could buy his first pair of Dr. Martens, Paul was a big help in the decision making process. My nephew is already talking about getting a second pair, and I know I could always use more boots, so looks like FashioNation has yet another patron for life.
I came in for the first time last week.. then yesterday to "return" an item. Both times I wasn't greeted, I wasn't asked if I needed any help. At check out, I wasn't told they had a NO REFUND POLICY. I find this very distasteful because there is ONE plaque that states this. You wont see it unless you are looking for it :( I believe if this is your policy it should be posted EVERYWHERE. Also believe it should be mentioned at check out before the customer proceeds with purchase. If I was told this I would have put my "maybe" item back instead of buying it. As much as I wear black nothing in there was working for me. Really shitty to have me either eat $33 or spend another $20 to get the one and only thing I liked. I will not be returning due to the lack of information and a policy I find crazy. My item was a shall, it was unworn with tags, returning a week later on the day. This isn't to tell you not to shop here its to give you a heads up on the policy since they don't.
To not see FashioNation is to not see Denver...er, no, that's Elitch's, but the sentiment truly fits for this fine legendary establishment. My girl just turned 12 which was the age I told her she could have her first pair of Doc's. I had remembered the great piece Westword wrote about this place and knew that we would find her first pair. The experience was amazing - eye candy for ANYONE whether it was the amazing footwear, clothing or history for music lovers and historians. The wall of artists whom have stepped foot in FashioNation and the line-up of autographed boots from your favorite bands are enough to make your heart swell and bring tears to your eyes because it's so overwhelming (and I am sure that what is on display is just a small percentage of what actually exists). Our experience was welcoming and everyone was so nice and helpful. It was fun to chat and connect with people I've never met before about the autographs and through the love of MUSIC and fashions. We walked out of there with a beautiful pair of boots that seemed to be made just for my daughter. As with most things in life that matter, you don't find boots, they find you.💕 Thank you for a wonderful experience and the biggest smile I've seen from my daughter in a long time.
Great fashion store. Didn’t buy anything this time but went to try on some clothing my sibling wanted (but didn’t fit) . Was a great experience here. Staff very welcoming and friendly, friendly customers, great atmosphere, and great clothing, shoes, and body wear. Really like the disco ball they have and their shoes they have. Overall, fashion store. Will return!
A fantastic store for all your alt goth clothing and shoes. The staff members were helpful, especially when I was looking for shoes. They carry a wide range of sizes and styles. Will definitely be back.
I L.O.V.E. this store. They have always made me feel welcome and have offered me support with picking out new dresses and tops and bottoms. The staff is wonderful! Seriously one of the safest spaces to shop in Denver especially for alt/gothy transgirls like myself 🏳️⚧️💜🖤 I will always shop here. Even if it's a 45 minute drive for me one way. I feel like I'm family here.
Maaaaan. This place is LEGIT. Zero poser shit and no fast fashion nonsense. My friend was having a divorce party and got some HOT outfits from here for such a good price. Staff is super friendly and the manager/(possible owner) showed me around giving me some of the history of the building. If you like being draped in black this spot has your back!!!
The staff were very kind! They were welcoming and helpful, but not so helpful to be around the corner and stalking you—in a good way. However, the clothing selection was not the best. Over half of the stuff looked like they bought it from SHEIN or hot topic. Personally, I was hoping for more unique clothing… The shoes were cool, and I expected the price range for demonias and other widely known alt shoe brands. Overall, I probably wouldn’t return, but it’s good for baby bats who have a large budget.
So many beautiful dresses all in one place! I’m in love with this store.😍 Good luck not wanting to buy everything!!! Did I mention they have all inclusive sizes. Love that🖤🖤🖤 Pretty sure this store WILL make you want to buy head to toe velvet & lace in the middle of Summer, just so you don’t leave a gorgeous dress behind. You know their stuff definitely gets snatched up quick. Likely the only regret you’ll have leaving here is that you didn’t buy even more.
