As the parent of a child with ASD and ADHD, I have come to view the world and education through a very different lens. The everyday joys and little accomplishments that my son has made over the years matter so much more than I ever imagined, even as the challenges can feel beyond difficult at times. Having Pamela Millman and her team at Education Consulting, Advocacy & Legal Services come alongside us as a family to fight for what our son needs - and is entitled to - has profoundly changed the course of his education. It has not been easy at times, but Pamela’s deep expertise, practical guidance, and willingness to speak honestly with us and the school district have opened the door to new educational opportunities for our son. In fact, I have never felt so optimistic about his future. Thank you for everything you have done to help our child get the support he needs to be the best that he can be no matter what.
Where do I start? We needed to change my son's school, but the public school resisted very much for about one and half year. After we started working with attorney Milman (and all the staff), and after some back and forth and meeting, finally the school agreed with the change. Attorney Milman and all the staff, were super professional and extremely knowledgeable, especially about the school subjects. They did fight for us for sure. Their rates are very reasonable and they do work hard for the money spent. Thank you so much, we appreciate all the work done for us.
I have been working with Dan for six years. He is very knowledgeable and responsive in returning calls and emails. I would highly recommend him if you are looking for a special needs attorney! He has been doing guardianship for my two children as well as represented my family in a dispute with MassHealth in which we won!
