Dr. Luda Kamenetsky, MD

This doctor took money from my wife during her doctor's appointment. They also took money from the insurance company. When my wife called them and asked for her money back, they lied about it. It took them 8 months and they just refunded the money back to the insurance company - not my wife! We spent hours on the phone with the insurance company and this doctor's office.

Luda Kamenetsky is a very pleasant and smart doctor with a very good bedside manners. Our experience with her as a civilian surgeon for a medical exam was very smooth and straightforward. She answered on all our questions and guided us on which vaccinations should be done. We made blood tests on an other floor of the same building. All the process was fast, effortless and convenient. I definitely recommend her.

I've been a patient of Luda Kamensky for 6 or 7 years and I love her being my doctor, she is very attentive and she really care about her patients and she is a very good doctor and she takes good care of me with any health problems that I have.

Dr. Kamenetsky been my family doctor for many years. I highly recommend her to anyone and cannot say enough high praises about quality of care, knowledge and experience Dr. Kamenetsky gives to all her patients.

I was referred to Dr. Kamenetsky by a coworker. I have recently relocated to Houston from Tulsa, Oklahoma and have a paper prescription for medication that can not be filled because it wasn't written on a Texas prescription pad. So, I simply needed to have a doctor review my medical records and issue a Texas prescription so that it could be filled. I don't have insurance as of yet but let the receptionist know my situation but she assured me that it would be no problem... even quoting me a cash price of between $150 and $200 for a consultation. She requested my fax number so that they could obtain my medical records from my former PCP but I waited nearly a week for the medical release document to be sent (should have been my first warning) and on the Friday before my Tuesday appointment I called again to request the fax... it was sent and I signed and returned it that afternoon. On the Tuesday of my appointment I took time off of work and drove to the Doctor's office. When I arrived I was again asked what form of insurance I have... I reiterated that, just having started a new job, my benefits had not yet began. I was given a stack of paperwork to fill out which took a decent amount of time... When I finished the paperwork and returned it to the receptionist she informed me that the Doctor would not be able to see me because I do not yet have insurance. Despite the fact that I was perfectly capable and expecting to pay cash for the office visit. Now I am left to find another doctor and take more time off of work. There isn't enough time in the week as it is and to have someone waste a good chunk of an afternoon when all you are trying to do is be their customer is hard for me to swallow.

Luda has been my family doctor for many years. My mom and dad both went to her. My dad was not so impressed but my mom and I liked her. It has taken me at least 6 months to write this review. I will NEVER go to her again. I wait to go to drs until I have to go. I had a few issues that needed to be dealt with and finally went. Not only did she embarrass me but she talked down to me and I had enough. She talked to me like I was stupid when I needed her help. I would of gave her 3 stars a year ago but after my last visit I am being nice and giving her 2. I do not know if she was having a bad day but I have never been treated so ugly by a doctor in my life. She lost all my respect and a patient however I wish the best of luck to her.

This doctor is the worst! Her staff is trash and they don't care about your health and well-being. My grandmother has been a patient for years, and neither Dr. Kamenetsky or her staff make a real effort to help with her current medical issues. The staff puts you on extended holds, and force you to leave a voicemail, and then, never call you back! So fed up with these people. They don't care about you, only your copay; it's shameful the way they treat people

1st impression of office; I wasn't too sure about the front office but overall a positive experience with front office. Wait wasn't too long at all. Once called back didn't wait more than 5 minutes and doctor came back. Bedside manner was EXCELLENT. The visit was not rushed at all. She was very patient with the million questions I had. I am going to continue seeing her as my PCP. She was great. I have referred her to my co-workers and they as well share the same sentiment. They call back when they say they are and that was impressive. So many physicians offices have terrible follow-up and this was not the case with Dr. Kamenetsky's office.

Dr Kamenetsky is very thorough and professional. She spends ample time discussing issues and answering questions. Her down to earth demeanor is disarming and makes an otherwise mundane visit actually pleasant. I would not hesitate to recommend her to friends and family.

Dr. Kamenetsky has been my internist since Dr. Herman Lapin retired. Dr. Lapin was a wonderful internist and I was concerned that my level of care would go down. However, Dr. Kamenetsky has taken superb care of me even during the COVID pandemic. I trust her and recommend her wholeheartedly.
