I was just reflecting on my home buying experience in Austin when I bought a luxury condo in Austin through Bailey Tipps of DEN. I feel duped. Nothing about the property has been as promised. Even the fast followups which were contractually obligated to me were ignored by their team. And in the end it turns out the build of the unit itself was quite cheap, too. Bailey had no problem playing it up, being generally dishonest about the property offerings, and telling a couple little lies about other interest to up the pressure. The cost was never a problem, I've just been so disappointed that what DEN and Bailey sold me as a luxury unit has been anything but. Once they closed they made zero effort to hold the promises made. Through Bailey as a representative, I see DEN as a generally dishonest company, and I recommend strongly against interacting with them.
My company is relocating to Austin and partnered with Den to provide relocation assistance for the employees. It seems like they are only willing to assist those that are trying to sell and purchase homes, those are the most lucrative after all. I am trying to lease a home, but I never heard back from Stuart when I talked to him initially. I followed up a couple months later to try and get things kicked off again, and was forwarded to James who was supposedly handling the leases for our employees. I received an initial response from James and after four follow-ups and radio silence, I finally got another response after I talked with my company's Chief Talent Officer who reached out to Den on my behalf. That got me a single response, I replied trying to continue communicating about my move, and once again am getting radio silence. At this point it is easier for me to settle on an apartment I don't want so that I can physically get to Austin to find a property management company that will actually help me. We partnered with them to make our lives easier, and all they did was waste months of my time. I hear they're great for home buyers, but I can testify that they are terrible if you are trying to lease. #ghosts

Mack at Den Property Group is an incredible agent to work with! As a first time homebuyer working with a relatively tight purchasing window, I certainly had some nerves going through the process.
