The night tour guide, Craig, was so knowledgeable. He was local. He was pleasant and funny. The driver, Jose, was spot on with pick ups and drop offs. Don’t worry, these were short stops along the way for photo opportunities. The night tour was definitely THE way to go if you can only do one. The bus was air conditioned and a smooth ride. Well worth the money. I will be back.
This was a terrific tour. We chose it mainly because it appeared to be the only one that had individual headsets which allow us to walk at our own pace and still hear what the guide had to say. And did he ever have a lot to say!! David was SO knowledgeable and presented the information in a friendly manner and with passion for the history and importance of the sites we visited. Jose, our driver, was excellent. Seeing DC at night is a must.
Robbin was a great chauffeur and Dave was an extremely knowledgeable guide. We saw many similar tours out tonight and our bus was top of the line with fewer passengers than other tours. The lights helped so much keeping up with the kids and locating the group if we needed to step away. Would highly recommend this tour. Bonus drinks and snacks!
Since it was very hot, we appreciated being in an air conditioned bus to see as many sites as we could given all the traffic and blockades. Also appreciated learning about the memorials and the fun facts as well. Thank you for a great tour. The lighted wristbands were also a great idea.
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour! Experiencing the White House, the Capitol, and various monuments illuminated at night was truly breathtaking. The tour utilized advanced audio-visual technology, including Bluetooth earpieces that made it easy to hear our guide's insightful commentary about the monuments and the buildings we passed. The LED bracelets were a great help when I wandered off for a quick photo, allowing me to easily spot my group. It was also convenient not to worry about bringing water or snacks, as they were provided. If you're considering a night tour with Dc Nation Tours, go for it—you won't regret it!
Our tour hide Craig, along with our driver Jose, were very accommodating. Craig was a plethora of knowledge and made the tour intriguing and fun. We had an issue with the bus air conditioner at the start of the tour and Jose jumped in quick to remedy this and got us a new tour bus. We saw many beautiful monuments and buildings around DC (highlight seeing the President’s Blackhawk taking off over the White House). Craig gave us a lot of interesting facts and details, as well as laughs. This was a great tour!
Great tour! David was the best and did a great job of getting us to see all of the stops despite the challenges of closed areas during the July 4th weekend. I would highly recommend this tour not only for the quality of our tour guide, but also the bus, the radio communication, water, and snacks!
Excellent tour! David is incredibly knowledgeable, entertaining, and kind. Lee is also wonderful! I learned a lot and would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves history… and snacks! Well worth the money spent. My husband and I loved it!
A great evening tour of DC. The earpiece and LED bracelets are a great idea so you can hear everything even if you’re not right next to your tour guide. The hotel pickup was a bonus and the kids loved the free snacks! The tour sites were stunning at night and definitely worth a visit! David our tour guide was a great character, funny and really knowledgeable. Would recommend!
We joined DC Nation Tours & Travel this past Saturday for their magical LED night tour, and even though it rained for about half the evening, we still had a truly wonderful time. My son and I actually took this tour a year ago and were thrilled to see that our guide, David, was leading again — he’s knowledgeable, engaging, and makes the history of D.C. come alive. Our driver, Robin, was excellent as well, navigating the city smoothly and safely despite the rain. This time, my friend London and my daughter came along with us, and it was just as special for them as it was for us before. The tour itself is beautifully organized and very well prepared. We loved how much insight and fascinating detail David shared about each stop. He also gives great tips and hints on what else to see and how to explore D.C. effectively, which we found really helpful. They even thought of the small things that make a big difference — handing out snacks and water, and offering umbrellas and ponchos so no one had to worry about the weather. Coming back for a second time reminded us why we loved this experience so much the first time. It’s a fun, comfortable, and informative way to see the city lit up at night. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting D.C. — and if you’re lucky, you’ll get David and Robin too!
