Reasonably priced service and great communication from the whole team! We had our electric panel upgraded and a Level 2 EV charger installed, and the crew got all of them done in merely 7 hours. Pete was so considerate and left me a voicemail about their arrival so they didn't have to knock and get all the dogs excited.
I hired Callahan Electric to upgrade and relocate my electrical panel, meter and mast. I also had them run power out to my garage and set up a separate panel there. They were timely, professional, and competitively priced. When hiring contractors, I cannot express how important it is to have clear communication with a contractor so everyone knows what to expect. Steve was great at responding to all of my questions, discussing the many options for the work I was considering and was straight forward with pricing. He also did a great job of keeping me informed on the progress of the work, inspections and outages as they happened. I would absolutely (and plan to) hire Callahan again and have already recommended them to friends looking to have electrical work done.
These folks are the absolute best and we will never call another electrician again. They are the most efficient, thorough, and reasonably priced electricians we've ever worked with and their troubleshooting skills are unmatched. We've had them out a few times to do all sorts of work, from installing a new breaker box to outlet rewiring and they have made every experience want me to invite them over for holiday dinner (seriously).
Callahan came highly recommended by a family friend, and they did not disappoint. Professional, fair, friendly. Great communication. They suggested some repairs/upgrades that we would not have thought to ask for - they wanted to make sure our electrical system was safe and up to code. Much appreciated!
I received several bids for electrical work on our home and ultimately chose Callahan for the work. Glad I did! Steve’s crew were professional and great to work with, very flexible with us as well. We had 2 new exterior lights added and old electric removed. They arrived on time however we needed to remove some more sheet rock so they could access the wiring. They were able to move another appointment around to allow us time to do what needed to get done and were able to come back in the afternoon. Overall great experience and I definitely know who to call next time we need electrical work done!
