Cute and bright cafe with indoor and outdoor seating, cozy decorations and chill music.Cold coffee was ok, but the chocolate chip bakery was A+. A lovely post-lunch find!
Foods good and the service is always nice and quick
I’ve been a customer of the bower for some time now and when I started going here it seemed very family like and I got to know the staff. I like their food selection and their coffee is fine. I can’t give enough thanks to Elijah for making me feel super welcome in there. He also took his time to chat and was so informative on the menu. Also his coffees are the best. I learned that he isn’t there anymore and the vibes just aren’t the same.
The speciality cream cheese on my bagel was DELICIOUS but at the end of day the bagel was a bit stale and couldn’t be toasted. The staff was very friendly. Unfortunately my chai latte was really a cup of iced milk with a splash of chai concentrate, the least-chai chai I’ve ever had.
The girl at the front was very nice but I became extremely ill after eating from here
Coffee is smooth and dark. Food is surprisingly top notch. Not too crowded during lunch. Would recommend.
I enjoyed a lovely latte and breakfast sandwich here. While they were out of what I wanted, the sandwich was excellent and I wasn't disappointed in the least. The staff is great as well.
Bailey is the best barista there. Her coffees are like no other. The ambiance is cozy and spacious, ideal for working from home.
It’s rare that I write reviews, but Bower’s Cafe was extremely impressive. The food was very affordably priced (especially for the portion size, which was quite generous when compared to your normal cafe), had great taste and it was quite obvious they use quality and mostly fresh ingredients, and the atmosphere was airy and exactly what you’d need to relax for a few moments. Of particular note, the thick cut slices of sourdough was fantastic, as was the seasons used on the breakfast potatoes. Highly recommend and will be back!!
A great stop for a quick trip to Philly with friends. Super nice staff and quick service. There was a miscommunication between my friend and the barista, but he remade the drink no problem which we really appreciate!! I got the ocean meow smoothie which had a lovely pineapple-ginger forward flavor. We took our drinks (my friends are coffee snobs and really liked theirs) to sit outside, there's a decent amount of tables and chairs on the sidewalk. It's not so tight where people walking down the street are right on top of you. But there's also lots of room inside. Lots of young adults working on their laptops and chill music playing.
