I hope you're enjoying Father's Day. This week has been a disaster thanks to you guys not doing your job—much appreciated! This place is an absolute nightmare. My fiancé was injured on the job due to faulty equipment, and as soon as he hired private counsel, his paychecks stopped coming. Coincidence? I think not. It's appalling how the workers' compensation system has become so heartless and indifferent. They seem to forget that people rely on these payments to survive. When someone gets injured and can’t work, cutting their pay by 40% and then stopping payments altogether is beyond unacceptable. Utility bills, gas, food for our kids and ourselves don’t just disappear. When we asked about the missing payments, the case manager and adjuster claimed they couldn’t do anything and didn’t know where the checks were. Despite this, a representative had the audacity to show up at his appointment two weeks after surgery, pushing for him to return to work on light duty. He hasn’t even been cleared to start physical therapy yet. These people need to stop and consider how they would feel if their child, husband, or father were in this situation. How would they feel if they were treated this way? My fiancé has worked his entire life, always going above and beyond. Now, with his first severe injury, broken bone, and surgery, he has been stripped of the ability to provide for his family the way he was raised and taught. He can't do any of his normal daily functions and is dealing with the physical and emotional impact of his injury. And then you guys pull a move like this. You never know what type of battle a person is fighting or what goes on behind closed doors. Many people face significant challenges. I just hope you realize that the way you treat people can have serious consequences. I'm glad my fiancé has a strong mental capacity, but this kind of treatment could push someone else to a very dark place. You should really consider that these people are human, and you're playing with their livelihoods. Honestly, it's just sad.
Do not do business with this company. They do not take ownership of their insurers claims. You pretty much have to be a lawyer and know all of the ends and outs with them. Their agent was very condescending and not willing to take responsibility.
