Good firm with helpful attorneys and professional services.
If you want a lawyer who communicates and who’s always on top of her game, I would avoid using Mercedes Badia-Tavas. She has non existent customer service skills and her team seems always behind the ball. I do not know if they have more clients than they can handle but it’s outrageous. They charge big bucks for a poor service.
Hired Barnes & Thornburg for a property variance. The communication and preparation was second to none. Our attorney Joe Calderon was great to work with and our line of communication was always open. We will definitely return again whenever we purchase a property.
I won a case and transferred to this firm to collect. After a year and about $20k in Bill's I have not seen .01! This firm cost me a tone of money and then wanted more. Example: was told 5k to file paperwork to repossess a home...got charged 7k....then got an email asking for possibly another 7k to finish the job! I'm more than upset! But I'm done! They made thier last cent off me! I'll pay my last bill. Hire someone else! Update: a month later I'm still getting emails from this law firm. And I just received another bill for over 2k. A month after I fired these crooks they are still charging me. They want money they did not earn...but they failed to do the job they double charged me for!

This law firm has counsel and partners that willingly and knowingly violate the Indiana open door laws while representing local, municipal, public entities. Most recently, Chris Greisl and Mark Crandley representing the Hamilton East Public Library. Fleecing Hamilton county with exorbitant fees, providing unconstitutional legal advice, refusing to provide documents to the public and then resigning from representing when the public scrutiny became too hot. Never hire this law firm.

They are very slow to respond and Dave Gillay employ questionable ethics.
