Peter and the crew at AI Charlotte are a rare gem. Their attention to detail and strong communication are second to none. Couldn't be more excited to do business with them.
I am in the process of purchasing a Ferrari Testarossa. Automotive International performed a very detailed pre-purchase inspection on the vehicle. Peter was extremely helpful, friendly and very patient. He answered all of my questions, which helped me make a purchase decision with confidence.
They claimed to specialize in foreign cars but did not service the vehicle properly. The qoute was very expensive for poor customer service and incomplete service in return. We paid the invoice but still did not get all of the original issues to fix
Peter and his staff did a wonderful job with my 1949 Jeepster. They fixed problems remaining from another firms restoration that left major mechanical and electrical issues. The problems are all squared away. I’m amazed at how varied the talent and problem solving capabilities there are in the shop. A real professional organization. She runs great (as 55 hp can push it), overdrive is a winner for an amazing 55+ mph top speed, and is she a real head turner. I have dubbed her “Miss Grace.” Can't wait to put more miles on her. I’m HAPPY!
I dropped a Ferrari off for repair. My vehicle was in for a routine timing belt job. I was quoted 8500 for the complete job. It took a year to complete the job. The price almost doubled, my car never drove the same again. I noticed upon picking up my vehicle, there was an excessive amount of water vapor in the oil tank. Peter assured me, "This was completely normal". I took my car to an authorized Ferrari dealership, and had to have the entire job re-done. I also had a factory Ferrari radio behind the back seat upon dropping off the car. When I picked the car up, the radio was not behind the seat anymore. I would not suggest bringing your Ferrari, or any other high end vehicle to this shop. It appears they do not do the right job, leave bolts out, and then do not take responsibility for parts that were removed and lost from your vehicle. UPDATE..... I have been searching for my Ferrari radio that was behind the seat when I dropped the car off for repairs. I have never found the radio, and it was definitely taken out and lost when Peter moved his shop. The repair cost me over 15k, I had it done from Ferrari all over again, and the cars runs like a sewing machine. It cost me another 10k for Ferrari to do it correctly. As far as the radio is concerned, I had to track one down online, and a used one cost me 750.00. not sure how this establishment has a 4.7 google reviews, but I would give them a Negative 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 if it existed.
Peter, Sean and team are simply Amazing!!! They are trustworthy, honest and extremely fair in cost. They have completed repairs that others could not and they did it right. They keep you updated and let you know everything they are doing. Once you bring your vehicle here you will never go anywhere else. Highly recommend them. Thank you AI
I would not trust anyone else with my cars. Jean and Peter have always taken good care of my vehicles and I appreciate them very much. After someone traveling across a parking lot and darted right in front of me- my Mercedes was a mess. The other person’s insurance didn’t want to pay enough for the repairs. Jean worked with the insurance company and took car of my car going above and beyond to restore it to its original beauty. I would not go anywhere else!
Outstanding work and very impressive shop. It’s not a surprise that there garage would be filled with the most impressive exotics including new and vintage Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes, American classics, English roadsters and luxury automobiles. I had a major service on my C4 era corvette. They did a great job and were very thorough. Sean the operations manager was incredible. He took his time with me, very knowledgeable and explained everything that was done. I felt like I was in great hands. Peter, the owner was great as well. A true gentleman, when we did run in to some complications with the service that required additional repairs and parts after discussing the matter he took care of the work and parts on the house. Now that’s impressive, his exact words “this is a relationship business and we care about the relationships with our customers. We value longterm relationships with our customer.” As someone who feels this way in there own business this reached out to me. No doubt, I look forward to a longterm relationship with AI. I have already started looking at possible restoration projects for the future!
I could not be happier with the service I received from the guys at Automotive International. My Ferrari 328 hadn’t been driven much in the last 10 years and needed a lot of work. There were a few hiccups along the way which required parts to be replaced that I hadn’t planned on but in the end I got back a perfect running car. There is nowhere else I would take my car.
This place is awful I took my 1977 Rolls-Royce to get repaired they did not do what they supposed to they did not look at my emergency brake they did not make sure my Mercy break was hooked up I spent $9,000 I have not drove it one time this place is ridiculous I had over 100 vehicles and this place is the worst I've been to in My Life and I'm 51 years old they does shady work!!!!
