Owner and employees are wonderful to work with. I haven’t been to manhattan for fabric in many months because of this place. I even bought fabric for my wedding dress here. Excellent but limited stock of cottons, silks, wools for apparel.

An absolute gem! Every time I’ve gone there they have everything I need (thread in lots of colors, buttons) and the prices are very affordable. The owners are also super friendly and helpful, they once spent 10 minutes helping me match a missing button on my coat. Lovely people and great store!
I love this fabric store! Karim (the owner) is incredibly kind and helpful. He is always so sweet to me when I go in and supportive of all of my sewing projects. The prices are hard to beat as well. I’ve been getting great fabric for such a steal.
This place is great! I always find something delightful and surprising in there. Their prices are more than reasonable - sometimes even unbelievable (in a good way). I have frequently bought cute fabrics from their $1.99 and $0.99 selection outside to use as a tablecloth for a dinner. I recently went there to find something inexpensive to make slip covers for my couch (that my dogs are ruining). I met the owner and he was so helpful. He's worked in the industry for many years and for some really high end companies. He really knows his stuff. He's a very interesting person and I really appreciated his help. You should note that this is not the place to go if you have a very specific fabric in mind. He might have it - you never know. If you're flexible, or if you like to be inspired when you get there and get to see and touch all that's available then this place is PERFECT!

Their clearance/sale section is phenomenal! Fun patterns for absolutely great prices. Granted, I only went in for a simple, cheap cotton weave... but it was the perfect color, and the service was super quick and easy. I look forward to going back for deeper perusal once I'm more comfortable spending time inside (y'know, once the pandemic is in a better place)!

I’ve been here a couple times now, and really love the place. It has a wide selection of fabrics, zippers, buttons—almost anything you could want for sewing projects. The owners are super helpful and honest, giving recommendations on what specific fabric is best based on what I’ve described. Will continue to frequent this place
