Highly recommend this to anyone who would like to rent or buy home medical products! Allure Mobility has the biggest showroom in the bay with a wide range of products. You can order an electric scooter, hospital beds, wheelchairs, and commodes, (and more products!) with models or brands that you like that they carry (which is a lot!). You can either rent or do private purchase. As for insurance, they can process these purchases if you have Medicare or PPO plans. Rizza, Robert, and Alex are amazing!! They're very helpful and knowledgeable about the specs of their products! They do timely deliveries and are very responsive. I highly recommend people to come here and check it out if you need home medical supplies! They are also available for walk ins!
Took a little bit of patience, but in the end, great service! UPDATE:09/25/2025 - I had an issue with my Pride Revo 2, and Alex (the owner) had someone come out, pick it up, fix it in a day, and bring it back. All for a very reasonable price. I'm so grateful to them - I was stuck at home, which sucks.
I am a PT and my patient needed a rollator walker. Very few places take medicare and Allure does. Also, when I called I got a real person who was very helpful! My patient was able to get the walker she needed and is very satisfied. Thank you so much Allure for dealing with medicare, it really helps those who are on a fixed or limited income.
These guys really help my dad out this week. We had yet another battery problem, which was no fault of Allure and they jumped at helping me get it fix so my dad had transportation. My dad (Robert Long) wrote a previous review but I dealt with the issue this time as he could not. Very happy with the service, speed and really most of all the attitude. Great to work with, they wanted to help.
We brought my 94-year-old mother‘s mobility scooter to Allure. Alex the service manager was very helpful, courteous. He really worked hard with the manufacturer to get her scooter repaired . He did a great job and we’re very happy. We will be back if we need service in the future. Debra
I rely on my mobility scooter to get Everywhere! After 53 years of MS, my independent walking days are behind me. My Pride Elite Traveller scooter was many years old. We tried new batteries, but that didn't "fix" it, so I am now the proud owner and "driver" of a new Pride Elite Traveller Sport, with more leg room, headlight, and rear reflectors. I stuck with the 3-wheeled one. Bought it for a good price. Owner understood my urgency to have it to get me to a medical appointment and had it delivered real soon after purchase. Made new friends there. Thanks to Alex and Rizza and to Matthew for accommodating me and my partner. I highly recommend Allure!! btw, their VanNess location has street parking right in front, and several spaces have fast turnover, so Go There!
Rented a rolling walker after a back injury made it too painful to walk on vacation to SF. The walker worked very well and was a reasonable rental price for SF. We got in and out of the store quickly and the staff helped us find the right equipment.
I do not reccomend going here. Two years ago, i bought a compression sleeve for my arm. I was measured. Size was wrong. I made dozens of calls and manager would never call me back. I went elsewhere and had to pay for new sleeve of correct size. Bad service. I lost tge over $100. I paid
Very happy with the electric mobility scooter we rented. We had previously booked with another big company who cancelled on us when we arrived in San Francisco. Allure was recommended by our hotel and they saved the day! The scooter was in good condition and worked fantastic. Allure was able to arrange a same day delivery and came within a few hours of talking. When they dropped off the scooter they gave a instruction on how to set up and take down so we could transport it in the car to other locations. At the end of our stay we were able to leave the scooter with the front desk and they came to pick it up. It was all very smooth sailing! When we are back we will definitely be using Allure as they were nice and convenient.
